"Booked hotel as advertised with a pool and in a nice part of Italy for a 11 night family (3 of us) holiday. Rooms dated, mould in bathroom, beds uncomfortable. Breakfast limited have to pay for extras that normally are included in breakfast (omelette €6 for example). Bar at pool side closes at 8pm. No entertainment or atmosphere at hotel. Do not book for a family holiday. Pool is an indoor sea water pool, with a heated one with jets. Definitely a long weekend spa for adults hotel. Did not eat dinner or lunch as very formal and no atmosphere. Ended up driving to Forte dei Marmi or walking into Cinquale (5 restaurants to choose from). Went to AlpeMare lido beach club each day rather than hotel due no atmosphere. Do not stay in 59B outside door to room when closed cannot open, had to go through patio door and outside area facing street very noisy."

"From the moment we arrived, there was no warm welcome. No explanation about the facilities, the room, or the surroundings—let alone any interest in whether we had a pleasant journey. We chose this accommodation based on its appealing online presentation. Don’t be fooled. It’s misleading. The images do not reflect reality. The place feels abandoned, with hardly any other guests. There are no restaurants, no bar, not even an honesty bar where you can help yourself with drinks. The only option is to request a glass of wine from the staff. Additionally, access to the spa costs €50 per person—for a very outdated spa and gym. The rooms are uncomfortable and extremely illogically designed. We bumped into things several times. You have to shower in a bathtub that slopes downwards, which is very dangerous and slippery. Adjusting the water temperature is a complete mystery. The breakfast staff is friendly and does their best, but the quality is lacking. The orange juice comes from a carton, and a fresh juice costs €5—something only mentioned in small print on the back of the menu. There is a wine estate, but you don’t get to experience any of it. Tastings are only offered on Wednesdays or Fridays, and no further information is shared—also no welcome bottle of wine in the room. It’s not about getting something for free; it’s about the overall experience. At check-out, the staff didn’t asked whether we had enjoyed our stay or wished us a pleasant onward journey. In short: think twice before staying here. Nothing is what it seems."
