Arriving somewhat by chance, we were delighted with this stopover, friendly welcome, clean and nicely decorated and arranged room (there is even a small fridge!), varied and delicious breakfast, tasty evening meal (eggs in red wine sauce and extra fried noodles). A few km from Chablis or Pontigny and its superb abbey, 15 minutes from Auxerre, a haven of calm. We really enjoyed it, the proof: we stopped there again on the way back!

Ended up here after a perilous snow adventure with the car through the Yonne. Knocked late, but received very friendly despite our late and unannounced visit. A delicious cheese and charcuterie platter in our room with a glass of Chablis was also possible and very well taken care of!

Accueil d’une rare, qualité, Mathias, le responsable a mis tout son savoir-faire à notre Service, tant aussi bien l’organisation de place de parking, une chambre nickel, bien dommage que nous soyons arrivés très tard, nous aurions pu nous régaler au restaurant. Ce n'est pas la première fois que nous nous rendons, mon frère et moi, à Montigny tout exprès pour aller déjeuner au Soleil d'or tant nous en apprécions le cadre et la qualité de la cuisine. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'était même meilleur encore que d'habitude. Le carpaccio de tomates était un vrai délice. L'omble, quant à lui, était une pure merveille. Nous reviendrons. Sans aucun doute, nous reviendrons.

Établissement calme et confortable , il ne manque rien dans la chambre. Pour le dîner un endroit agréable avec une cuisine de qualité . Un autre salle pour le petit-déjeuner avec à disposition de quoi bien débuter la journée. Parfait pour une étape entre abbaye de Pontigny et le vignoble de Chablis . Je recommande vivement cette adresse.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans le nouveau Soleil d'or. La cuisine est de qualité et la présentation est soignée. Le service est soigné mais un peu trop sophistiqué et pourrait être un peu plus détendu. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Heureux qu'il soit à nouveau ouvert.
