Have been visiting this hotel for over 30 years when it was just opened. Never had a disappointing visit. I understand it closed at end of October as it has a new owner. Look forward to reopening and any modifications carried out. Hope they retain the general ambience.

We spent two nights in this hotel - overall a good 3 out of 5 impression: - polite personnel - nice swimming pool (didn't use it, but it looked well and was taken decent care of) - good location to visit the Loire valley and the neighbouring castles an vineyards - large room with an amazing view negatives: - request for a double bed was ignored (albeit lodged 2 months before check-in) - pillows were tiny and not comfortable at all - WiFi was patchy - breakfast was not the strongest side of the hotel (limited selection - there were just a handful of cuts/cheeses and only one of the cheese was actually delicious, horrendous coffee) - the room seemed to be in an increasing need of maintenance, as there were signs of leakage in the bathroom, and cracks/scratches here and there - there was a forgotten baby bathtub in the wardrobe - the bathroom only was equipped with two pieces of soap and two 20ml shower gels, which were not replenished the next day despite the housekeeping having taken place - broken exhaust in the bathroom

An exceptionally friendly hotel, located ideally next to the castle. Calm with a beautiful swimming pool. Nathalie went out of her way to make our time at the hotel both comfortable and enjoyable.We loved our stay here.

We went as a school to get changed etc. before our concert. We were kindly greeted with homemade/baked goods and water and juice which was extremely kind. They staff were all lovely and more than happy to help in any way they could. The outdoor facilities were very good and very pretty

C'est LE meilleur hôtel que j'ai pu tester ! Les nouveaux propriétaires ont repris l'hôtel il y a peu, et nous avons eu la chance de faire le premier week-end d'ouverture ! L'hôtel est magnifiquement décoré, avec beaucoup de goût, que ce soit en intérieur ou extérieur. Et la literie est top ! Les hôtes et l'ensemble du personnel sont la définition même de la bienveillance et de la gentillesse, rien n'est surjoué, ou faux, ça se sent que toute l'équipe est passionnée et n'a que pour but le bien-être de leurs visiteurs. Nous leur sommes extrêmement reconnaissantes de toutes les attentions ! Nous avons eu aussi la chance de pouvoir profiter du restaurant, le midi et le soir, où la formule est très accessible niveau tarif, et extrêmement bonne ! Avec des produits de saison et locaux ! De même pour le petit-déjeuner ! C'est très agréable d'entendre l'histoire derrière chaque produit qui nous est présenté. Un séjour de détente parfait ! Et avec des hôtes eux-mêmes parfait ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir, mais en attendant, on vous conseille de réserver là-bas pour redonner foi en l'humain, et se détendre au maximum !

L’accueil est correct. Demander absolument une chambre avec vue sur château ! Dans ces conditions, le lieu vaut le détour… Nous n’avons pas pris le petit déjeuner car nous n’aimons pas les buffets et qui n’est pas à priori proposé avec des produits locaux.

Hôtel familial très agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Nous étions dans 2 chambres communicants avec une magnifique vue sur la piscine et le château situé en face. Le personnel de l’hôtel est à l’écoute. Nous y retournons sans hésiter
