Hotel de La Soledad

This hotel is perfectly situated in the historical center as the cathedral is just steps away. The hotel itself is beautiful and very luxurious while the service we received was excellent. Pricing is at the higher end for Morelia hotels, but definitely worth it. The grounds were lovely and provided a great ambiance for a magnificent stay. Our room was very spacious and clean and had a great sitting area. Although the room windows faced the street, we could hear no noise from the outside. Non hotel guests are limited to the ground floor where restaurant is located. We appreciated this as non hotel guests couldn’t roam freely all over property as we experienced in other hotels. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in future trips.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. This hotel is beyond beautiful. From the minute you walk into the property the decor, the grounds, the ambience is truly magical. The rooms are super nice, comfortable beds, super clean and decor a plus. Dining is superb, delicious food. Staff are friendly and so accommodating in all your needs. Highly recommend this hotel and will return in the near future.

Ive stayed in this property multiple times for years. I’m happy to say that they haven’t put their guard down, every time I go the place is immaculate. I love it there. That’s my number one choice.

Beautiful hotel, the staff could not be nicer and more helpful. The courtyard is a nice escape from a busy and noisy city center. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable

Everything was perfection beginning with the special attentions of Lic. Becerra in reservations to a gorgeous room with L'Occitane products, a fabulous dinner, lovely cocktail service and stylish and delicious breakfasts in a beautiful garden setting. My sister and a mutual friend spent 3 nights in 2 stunning rooms and wished it had been a week! It is a destination hotel!

Has visited many times for dinning and love it, first time staying there and loved the quietness for good resting.

Beautiful property in the heart of morelia! Great location, hotel is really nice. Rooms are very nice and clean. A couple of disappointments The day I checked in I was not told about the welcome drink that we were supposed to get. Went to front desk to speak to agent about putting an ice pack in the fridge for my insulin, agent then mentioned he forgot to let us know about the welcome drink and we could order it anytime before we check out. I went down to bar and asked for the drinks, they said they woild take them to the room. I get a call saying it was late to request the drinks and i would have to pay for the welcome drinks. I declined drinks. Reason of trip was to visit sister and niece I had not seen in over 6 years. All rooms have a sitting area outside of room. First night my sister and niece came to visit they came up we had a good time ordered drinks and talked. Second night they didnt let them come up tl visit. They made them wait outside didnt even let them come in to come see me. They informed me they were not allowed to visit guests staying at the hotel. So i came down to talk to front desk and said that guests are not allowed to come visit. I was extrmely upset that they let them come up the night before and not the second night they came. I asked to speak a supervisor she called a guy with name of becerra and said they cannot let them up and they need to stay outside. We were planning on grabbing drinks again and wanted to catch up with my family.
