Just stayed in Electra apartments for 1 week. Good points are.. Great location Good ski in/ski out Apartment is a good size for 2 people Good views from apartment balcony Staff friendly on reception Bad points.. The apartment is very unclean, dusty, cobwebs and fusty smelling. No replacement clean towels for the whole week. The beds are single beds and very uncomfortable. The apartment is very noisy, constant banging all day and night, not sure if this was from residents or maintenance, but we was woke up every morning from about 6.30/7am from banging noises.

Great location for a family vacation. Direct access to Avoriaz Bike Park and Chatel Bike Park. Apartment is well laid out and spacious enough. Good facilities in Avoriaz and friendly, helpful staff.

This apartment block is not where it proports to be on the map nor is it 3.61km from Morzine centre as described on **********. We booked two nights for the cycling but ended up leaving after the first night to pay for more accommodation due to the location not being what was described and what we wanted. Also a damage waiver has been taken from my credit card of 200 euro which has not yet been returned. We officially checked out on Monday morning.

The Property & Village is so Gorgeous & Breathtaking View but be aware that this is on top of the mountain so it requires very good driving skills going up in zigzag road.

Efficient staff however needed door code to get to reception and opening hours very short. Free taxi service (horse drawn) to and from car park, be prepared to wait we had a 25 min wait on return which needs to be factored in if you have planes/boats/trains to catch. Great location, quiet as high in resort. Ski in and out but not for beginners if snow is poor as it’s a bit narrow and tricky and you have to get a very busy chair lift back to get high enough to ski home. Poor cleanliness stains on mattress cover and bedding, dirty microwave, very dusty ledge above head board, ripped cushions, tired and worn apartment with lots of marks scratches everywhere. Take air freshener for the toilet! Bath is child sized. Plenty of hot water and very warm throughout. Long way to supermarket through resort down 4 sets of stairs up 4 sets of escalators (1 set not working). Ski room adequate; empty cupboard no hooks or racks very tight on space only room for one family at a time. Good working lift system. No oven, hob and microwave only.

First time we have stopped in this hotel; Rooms; Plenty of room for a 2 adults and 2 children (11 &8). There is a separate bedroom, with two single beds and wardrobe space. In the Lounge, there is a microwave, Hob, plenty of utensils , plates and cups. There are two sofa beds, one turns into a double, so plenty of room for 2 adults and still space to sit on the other sofa. There is also a table and chairs, so you can eat comfortably. There is also a ski room, with a locker for your room, so no need to take the skis to the room, easy access. Location; I don't think there is a bad location to stay in Avoriaz. All are ski in and ski out, this was no exception. Skis straight on and away you go. Close to all bars and restaurants and 2 min skiing to the lift.

P&V Crozats. Apologies for this lengthy post but hopefully it will help information-wise! We travelled from Geneva to Avoriaz on 28 December. Firstly the transfers. We looked at all options, car hire, shared transfers and taxis. The prices were broadly similar but used a comparison site (ski transfers) who were v good however you need to book quite speedily as when returned to previous quote that was no longer available. Car hire was expensive and to be honest it would have sat in the parking all week. Parking is about €100 for the week and pre booking strongly advised. When we came up the mountain in our transfer they had closed the roads as Avoriaz was full! Presume they were allowing pre booked through however. When you arrive at the various transfer points there are horses and sleighs waiting to take you. With P&V Electra the transfer was included. On your return you will need to call them when you are ready to go but ensure you have the voucher from reception. They then come and pick you up. Our transfer was waiting for us at 0515 and worked v well. It was cheaper than most at €480 and the minibus would have seated 8 but more like 6 with baggage. V friendly efficient service and I would recommend. ALPE1 transfer des Montagnes. Messaged via WhatsApp to advise where he was waiting for pick up and the transfer took 1hr45/50. We were v limited in choice due to the early pick up on return. Arrived at Electra and reception was closed (approx noon) but we were aware of this and checked in next door which is only a few metres away. Fast check in and we were handed the keys. 9th floor beautiful view. However the room smelled bad and the bin was still full. We later realised this was because the clean hadn’t been done as the men arrived to sort it out and were somewhat confused that we were there! They were v friendly and sorted the smell/cleaned etc. We decided to see if our skis were ready. Booked in advance online with Skiset situated on the ground floor. Again v efficient friendly service and we had our skis and boots by 1.30! Headed to sort out ski passes however they had sold out for the day so ended up buying online as it is cheaper and heading to the village for a drink in the sunshine. Avoriaz was super busy because the resorts below had no snow cover (first time in 45 years) so all and sundry were coming to ski there. Be aware of this and book your passes in advance if necessary! We felt v lucky to be staying in Avoriaz rather than Morzine/Les Gets/Lindarets etc. The ski in ski out works amazingly well albeit the snow cover could have been manually bolstered as the conditions were variable with some rain which wasn’t good for the snow in the village! However the Crozats is higher up. The escalators up and down are v temperamental. There wasn’t one day where they all worked so if you have any mobility issues bear that in mind. You can have the sledges taxi service. In so far as the rooms were concerned they are basic. You’re paying high

The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The rooms advertised as 'premium' actually have no difference to the normal rooms, they are just on higher floors. The kitchen has a hob, kettle and microwave which are convenient. The main living room has two sofas which can be used as single/double sofa beds. There is another room off the sitting room with a double bed. The beds aren't very comfy, rock hard, however we found the soda beds are comfier than the double bed. The beds aren't made on arrival, you have to make them yourself, which is one of the only negative points. The location is excellent. It's two stairs down to the centre and roughly takes about 5 minutes to walk into the town. The slope is located right next to the hotel, so it is easy to ski in and ski out. Quick ski to the main ski lift. The locker room (on floor two) is also conveniently located and is easy to get to. The town has lots of shops and restaurants. The restaurants often serve in the evening at 7pm and 9pm. Overall great location. The website shows a picture of a swimming pool, this is not part of the hotel! It is actually the town swimming pool which is about a ten minute walk from the hotel. However it is a great place to go to and has stunning views across the mountains. Overall good hotel in an excellent location.
