We were evacuated from hotel in the middle of the night due to a fire in the boot room, and then spent most of the night on the cold floor in a neighboring bowling alley with very poor updates from the hotel management, and without any compensation, sympathy or apology on checkout.

Myself and two friends had a wonderful stay at Hotel des Dromonts. This is the 5th time we have stayed at the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It's a great location for our skiing vacation and we look to going back in 2025!

Just returned from a special Birthday ski weekend with 9 pals at Hotel Des Dromonts nd so glad I booked us the hotel. From the moment we checked in to the we left the staff were so accommodating. The 1970s style lobby and reception feel was such a chilled place to hang out after skiing . The modern spa and outdoor jacuzzi were a great place to recuperate with your friends. The food at both restaurants catered for all our various dietary requirements and was of a high standard. With their being 10 of us it made so much sense to book half-board as it meant we didn't have to book restaurants in the village and represented sich good value. The rooms were high standard with a walk in shower and free standing bath in middle of room, nice touch but with our set up didn't really get used😂 Having a ski hire shop next door and offering a hotel discount was a no brainer. The whole town of Avoriaz is ski in ski out so whilst technically the hotel is, and you are on a slope for ski out;you do need to walk a little with your skis to ski in at the end of the day but all the fun of the experience. No real need for us to leave the hotel but if you want to there's a pool/bowling bar opposite that closes at 2am or its a short walk in to town. Oh and the alpine breakfasts are great too with a wide choice of hot and cold foods. I will definitely will be back with friends and family.

A very special hotel and staff, we were well looked after from start to finish. The hotel had everything we needed, the location was excellent, breakfast was amazing. Skiing was effortless with ski in and out with a perfect boot room. The only down side of the hotel was the noise in the bar opposite, it was loud until the early hours with people outside. Not the hotels fault at all, but it wasn’t good.

This is a excellent hotel, especially if you are looking for a ski-in/ski-out stay. The staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. Both restaurants in the hotel serve lovely food, make sure you book in advance if you are staying half board to guarantee a table as they can get quite busy. We stayed here over Christmas and hotel certainly made our stay perfect!

Extremely attentive and friendly staff. A fun time had. Plenty of high quality services available : sauna, spa.....I would highly recommend the hotel & look forward to returning to it, winter perhaps

Wow, where to start. Admittedly this hotel looks a bit odd from the outside but inside it’s fairly cozy and the rooms were a good size. The breakfast spread was very good. It also had a sauna and outdoor hot tub, which we very much enjoyed. The best thing though was the staff - all so helpful and friendly. Genuinely seemed like they wanted to help make you feel more comfortable and on a number of occasions went over and above. Am for certain planning to come back!

If you're after 4 star super boutique cool, over 5 star bland, this is the hotel for you. Was nicknamed the Saint Tropez de Niege in it's day and you can still feel the 70/80s celebrity vibe running through its amazing architecture and design. Which set the look and style for the whole resort. The food is superb so i'd recommend half board. Location is incredible. You can literally ski in and out of the boot room and ski hire is opposite. Rooms are smallish but perfectly formed, Staff are lovely. It's a proper gem.

Having skied for some 30 years this without doubt is the most customer friendly hotel I have stayed in ,food was excellent,bar service excellent,staff amazing ,extra lighting in the boot room wouldn't go a miss 😀 A definite re book for us
