We were given the smaller room amongst the newly refurbished selection ie no separate lounge area and only one sink in the bathroom instead of a his and hers.
It’s a wonderful room nonetheless, full fledged minibar and fancy finishes but two things really annoyed me:
1. The shower is splendid but even though you close the door, the water spills out onto the whole bathroom floor nonetheless and this is a crucial design mistake
2. The LCD buttons are way too complicated, there’s no logic in how to turn what lights on and off, how to open the curtains in the morning and turn the heat down. Sometimes we don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
But overall the hotel is a historical luxury on prime location.

剛走進莫斯科大都會酒店，我就被它那種又古典又精緻的氛圍給鎮住了。感覺像一下子穿越回了一百年前，但同時又特別舒服，一點不覺得老舊。酒店的位置簡直絕了，走路到紅場和克里姆林宮也就幾分鐘，晚上從窗户就能看到對面大劇院亮燈的樣子，夜景超讚。最讓我驚喜的是早餐，在那個巨大的玻璃穹頂下面吃早餐，還有人彈豎琴，感覺自己像在電影裏一樣。感覺這裏不衹是個酒店，更像是莫斯科的一個歷史地標。能住在這裏，體驗真的很特別。

非常滿意，硬件軟件都不錯，前台英文流利，早餐也還能吃，去景點、外出吃飯、坐地鐵、到處轉悠啥的，近在周邊，特別方便。送的巧克力非常好吃，可惜商店裡沒買到，不知能否告知品牌。
唯一的缺點是我們的房間臨街，馬達的噪音超級大。
還挺懷念的。

設施：老牌五星級酒店，健身房，會議廳，桑拿，spa，一應俱全。每間房間的裝修佈置顏色都不一樣，開門有驚喜，這次定的傳統套房衞生間真的太20世紀初風格了，家人不喜歡覺得老氣，我倒是非常喜歡。古董傢俱，沙發和床都舒服的很，床上用品織數肯定很高。
衞生：浴缸塞子上浮起來了前住客的頭髮，很明顯我不是棕發。一個牀頭櫃底下隱蔽的地方掉的安全套包裝。helper天天給好多瓶水，夜床服務還會投喂巧克力。
環境：地理位置太好了，出門即是馬克思雕像，莫斯科大劇院在旁邊，紅場走路五分鐘，逛累了回去休息後繼續。早餐廳特別頂，提供魚子醬和香檳，現場演奏豎琴。
服務：隔音不好，臨街房間晚上隨機有車轟油門。朝內側的房間樓下是大廳，開party的聲音震耳欲聾。前台工作人員衹能換房，誰想每天半夜收拾行李折騰啊。地下一樓健身中心前台的工作人員特別貼心，手把手帶你逛。
