What a perfect place. The rooms are incredible, so luxurious. The guide was extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable, it was an amazing experience.

Good facilities overall, the included dinner is also good. It is a bit on the expensive side, considering it's effectively ~ZAR 9000 per night for the deluxe tent.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. I really like the rooms with a great view. Delicious and varied breakfast. The only thing about the safari is that not all guides organize it well. We had the guide Austin three times, it was unforgettable, and on the last morning another guide, I didn't like it at all.

We visited for a 2 night all inclusive stay. Our time on the reserve totally exceeded our expectations. Wonderful animals, superbly attentive and welcoming staff and a magical feel of being in the wild. Our trip kicked off with a view of 4/5 elephants lazily wandering below the accommodation (fabulous) on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Great start and just got better. We saw the big 5 plus a whole host more. Room, accommodations, spa 10 Food and wines 10 Animals 10 Staff 10 Honestly, if you want the safari experience - we 100% recommend. Not sure you can do this any better. Well done.

Thumbs up for Botlierskop Private Game Reserve: we had to end our holiday and thus cancel our visit to Botlierskop due to the deteriorating health condition of our mother(in law). Reservations of Botlierskop Private Game Reserve dealt with this cancellation in a very warm, adequate and professional way. As I said 'thumbs up' and you will keep a spot on our bucket list.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Botlierskop! Highlights - game drives were brilliant - thank you to Jarrod and Richard - staff were excellent. Marguerite in particular was amazing and made my sons whole holiday (he has said it was the favourite part of his whole SA holiday) by arranging a special experience to meet “army men”! - the play area was perfectly proportioned and positioned - the kids (3 and 6) just had ball in the play area. It secure and loads of things to keep them occupied. We probably had the most enjoyable dinner as a couple as the kids were happy playing near by! - the food was brilliant too! - the game drives were excellent with a good variety of things to see. - accommodation was lovely and worked well with the kids. Right from booking (thank you Daniel) through to the game drives and leaving, everyone was excellent.

Our family had the most wonderfuL stay at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve. From start to finish, everything was handled with such warmth and professionalism. The luxury tents were fabulous — beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable, making us feel close to nature without sacrificing comfort. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every member of the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well looked after. A very special thank you to Daniel, who handled all our reservation enquiries so efficiently and with such care — he truly made the planning process effortless. Botlierskop is a perfect combination of comfort, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better family getaway and are already looking forward to returning!

Amazing facilities, great service, lovely accommodation, good food and wine list The safari treks themselves were unbelievable, we were lucky enough to have Austin who was fantastic, a lovely man , who could track the animals through his skills and knowledge… An amazing experience our family will never forget
