The cottage is set in a small residential area and issurrounded by a lovely garden.The one-storey cottage features a pretty little veranda, through whichyou enter the cottage. Inside, you will find a charming kitchen with thebasic amenities. The spacious living room has a dining table, an openfireplace, and a sofa bed. The living room opens onto a lovely roofedterrace where you can relax and spend time together. The master bedroomfeatures two single beds and the other bedroom has one single bed. Nextto the cottage theres an annex with a bunk bed. Please note that the wifi data amount is limited.Its a short walk of 200 metres to the nearest beach with sand andgrassy areas. This is where you will find the rowing boat that isincluded in the rent. Why not try your hand at fishing? You can buy afishing permit in Motala. Motala is only 12 kilometres from your holidayhome and here you will find shops and restaurants. The bigger town ofLinköping is 40 kilometres away. The area has plenty of cycling paths,amongst others, one that follows the channel Göta Canal. You can alsotake a boatride along the canal.Another great destination is the old, picturesque town of Vadstena, setright by lake Vättern. Vadstena was once up for becoming the capital ofSweden, before Stockholm was chosen. King Gustav Vasa built a castlehere in the middle ages and it still stands today, in excellent shape.There are also several beautiful old churches you can visit, and aconvent where the Birgitta-sisters live. This is the town that SaintBridget is from and it offers plenty of culture and historical sites.Between Ödeshög and Vadstena you will find the ruins of the monasteryAlvastra Kloster, set in beautiful surroundings right by the mountainOmberg. Omberg is well worth a visit for those who love walking in beechforests.
