Absolutely no faults for service, they where excellent. I can see it has great areas: big kitchen and outdoor area, lounges. And free surf board and bike hire is pretty darn neat. However firstly...the bathrooms where below par: if you are the type of person whom likes their personal space, are not particularly touchy or someone who doesn't like sharing bath water (in a sense), then showering in a cubical where the next doors cubicles dirty water runs into where your standing (and vice versa) is going to horrify you. You'll get splashed by them when trying to dry yourself too. Secondly, the bed was horrible. You know those steel bunks your cousins had in their spare room that squeaked like no tomorrow when you moved and bowed in the middle with anyone lying on it. They where like that, except you had the extra benefit of stained sheets, and a listless duvet. Now granted if we had paid $40 to use the room we would have let these downfalls pass. But as it was a $86 for the double room. This is just not good enough. Especially when you specifically choose to stay here knowing this is an award winning accommodation option.
