Mountain View Guest Motel

Our RV stay in Oct. was very enjoyable! Steven in reception was very friendly and informative. Sites were level, concrete pads were at each site, bathrooms were very clean and cheery , park was laid back and friendly. I will definitely be returning.

Stayed in the Serenity cabin for two nights. Living and kitchen area was spacious. Queen bedroom and bathroom were a little cramped, but not a big problem for two people for just two nights. Next time we may stay in one of the motel rooms, because we don't need the kitchen. The cabin was clean and had the things you would need if staying for several days or longer. The grounds were well kept and the one staff person we met was friendly. Price was reasonable. Based on the other properties we saw around town just from the outside, we'll probably stay here again instead of trying somewhere else. If I were in a RV, I'd like this place also. Bathhouse was clean and up to date. The area was quiet.

This campground turned out to be a very pleasant surprise to stay at. The present owners took over this campgrounds four years ago and they really pay attention to the details. You will not find a more delightful and cleaner bathroom and shower area in any other campgrounds. The camping spots themselves are a bit close together like most private campgrounds but the extra decks and gazebos scattered through the campgrounds make up for the closeness of the units. We just had an RV rally at this campgrounds and just about all of the 26 units said this was one of the best campgrounds they’ve ever stayed at. If you were looking for a place for an RV rally, this campground is great for it. They have two buildings for get-togethers. One building is much larger than the other building and they both have full kitchens to prepare food items for the Rally. The covered deck in front of the larger building served as a great meeting place for the Rally. The owners Shawna and Greg we’re very cooperative to work with.

The Mountain View RV Park and Guest Motel is a rare find in Mountain View. The accommodations are great, the room was spotless, easy check-in, friendly staff, and a very affordable price. This will be our go-to spot when we are back in the area.

Made reservation for four nights reluctantly being we are not even people! We had an upper room in their cabin. Walked in and were pleased. Large open room with sliding door to a small but adequate balcony. Two chairs and little table provided. Room was very clean. The bed alarmed us when we went to sit down it felt like a board. Surprise, it was a dense memory foam pad and very, very comfortable. We both have back problems and had unusual great sleep. They do have a kitchen and fitness room we did not checkout. The only con is the very steep metal stairs leading to the room. On the rainy/sleeting day it was slippery. Great stay and would return!

We were looking for a weekend getaway and found this little gem. The booking process and correspondence with owners were very easy and pleasant. During our stay, we had the privilege to meet Shawna and her son Steven, such wonderful people. The facilities and accommodations are fantastic, as is the location.
