Wombat's City Hostel Munich Hauptbahnhof

Unfortunately, the room (404) had a very intense mothball/naphthalene smell. But like VERY INTENSE. It was noticeable even before entering and was strong enough that all of my belongings absorbed the odor. It was quite unbearable at times and significantly affected the overall experience. I felt bad going out because I had the perception I smelled of naphthalene all the time. Aside from that, the hostel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean, with great storage and well-maintained facilities. The common areas are really cool and thoughtfully designed, and although the kitchen is small, it’s perfectly functional. I hope management looks into the ventilation or cleaning products used, because otherwise this would be a very enjoyable place to stay.

It's my second time staying here. I chose to return to stay here again because of its location that is so closed to central train station. There is the certain and small locker at the bed and we can choose any free bed !

Second time staying with Wombat! Great standard as well as my first time with London branch. Love Wombat as always! 🩵
