Excellent stay with friendly staff. Quite close to U Bahn station. Unexpectedly got a Marshall BT loudspeaker that give me a good enjoyment

The transportation was good on foot, tram, bus, etc. from the central station. Even if I arrived too early, I was able to keep my luggage, and even when I checked out, I was able to keep it until late. I'm glad that all the staff were flexible. If I wanted to change the bath towel, I was told to leave it on the floor, but I forgot, but it was nice that the towels were changed. However, it was a little troublesome that the cleaning staff visited many times even though it was time before checkout. Other than that, I am very satisfied. I didn't have breakfast, but it looked delicious as far as I could see.

Upon arrival at 9 PM, reservation desk personnel said they couldn't find records of my reservation (prepaid through ******* and confirmed by email 2 days before arrival). I presented paper receipts showing dates and prepayment. Staff said hotel was full, but we could have overnight accommodation in room for handicapped guests adjacent to lobby/bar. The next morning hotel staff acknowledged that my prepaid reservation for 4 nights was valid and offered to move us to an upgraded room for the rest of stay. We were happy with upgraded room and hotel services thereafter. First night was distressing experience; handicapped room was unsatisfactory in many ways.

Convenient location for main train station, tram outside, walking distance to main attractions. I took the castles tour and the bus stop was only a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. City Hop On Hop Off Tours are only 10 minutes walk, easy to find. Nice restaurants in the area, especially Casa Nostra if you like Italian. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The bar is funky and modern as are the rooms. Everything was spotless. Free tea /coffee stations with vending machine on all floors. Luggage drop off was available too at no extra cost. I would highly recommend the Ruby Lily Hotel Munich and would come back again.

The room was extremely small and there was no way to achieve privacy in the toilet… toilet was in a glass room which means you could see and hear everything the other part does inside.
