On 06.10.2024, I had my first and last visit to Petehovac. They might as well put a sign on the door that says, "Guests unwelcomed" Nine of us arrived with the intention of having lunch, but we were unable to because we hadn't made a reservation. At the time, only about three tables were occupied in the restaurant, while several empty tables were marked "reserved," and no one sat at them during the entire hour we were there, drinking (overpriced) beverages. The terrace tables were all empty as well, but the waiters informed us that they don't serve outside. A few days before our visit, we called to confirm they were open, but they never mentioned that a reservation was required.

The place was full and they accepted us without reservation. We waited some 20 minutes for the table and that is ok. During the time we waited for tbe table, no one came to take our order for drinks. After we sat at the table we immediately got menues and then waited some additional 15 min for the waiter to take our order. It was 6 of us and we just wanted to have a quick lunch, so we went after main dishes only and some salads. We got the food after 30+ minutes!? Mince meat from barbecue was small, gulasch ok, and pasta with mushrooms extra small portions with very few pieces of mushrooms. Very dissapointing.i woild recommend this only if nothing else is free. This is how we ended up here.

A must to go place every time while we are visiting Croatia . Beautiful little place in the mountain , with great food and cozy atmosphere. We’ve been there in the summer and winter , always great and different experience!

Abbiamo scelto questo posto per spezzare il viaggio di ritorno dal mare, siamo stati accolti con cortesia e con un bicchierino di liquore dolce ! La camera era pulita e comoda anche se non grande, peccato la moquette....il colle su cui si trova è bello con un bosco di faggi . Abbiamo anche cenato con soddisfazione e sempre cortesia, buono il prezzo e al check out abbiamo avuto anche una bottiglietta d'acqua in omaggio per il viaggio ! Rimane l'intenzione di tornare con il tempo di visitare la zona .
