Rooms in the superior part of the hotel are quite small, especially the bathroom with a tiny shower booth. These are not really 4* rooms by today’s standards. This not a major downside as one only spends the night in a hotel room and beds are very comfortable.
The hotel itself is very cosy, perfectly located and has all the amenities one could desire.
Food is tasty.
My wife and I reaaly enjoyed our weekend break in Rogaška Slatina.

Manager of receptionist calls Leah , she behavior to me very badly without helping or serolving the problem. She told me to have better WiFi you must seat in different spot in the room while is my internet not working at all Then to change a room coast 50 euros why? because I pay normal prize and I do not have WiFi . I guess you must treat the customers better is actually your job to do . If you can’t stand Fire Leah then don’t work in the kitchen Thank you

Buffet: Some of the food was cold or old. Some dishes were offered three times in the buffet. Few vegetarian dishes and vegetables. The vegetables were always overcooked. Rooms: Always be careful not to get a worse category than the one you booked and not to be charged extra for things that should have been included. There were thousands of ants in the room. The cleaning service was shoddy. Wellness area: No cushions on the plastic loungers. Access to the sauna and outdoor pool was extra. Staff were not very polite (with a few exceptions). Service was not very good. Sometimes you had to wait 20 minutes for drinks to be ordered at dinner.

If you want a relaxing holiday, book a different hotel. Old, unfriendly, cold food, eat the same thing three times. Not worth 4 stars. The hotel was 1.5-2*, OK but nothing more! Ants in the room, booked a luxury room but didn't get a luxury room. There are differences between luxury and luxury, simply a no-go! The hotel posts fake photos on various platforms to lure holidaymakers. Simply pathetic and every complaint is dismissed with a "yeah, yeah." Just returned from a 7 day detox at Grand Hotel Sava - what an experience! We had a Grand room with a balcony overlooking the park - so peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The view was beautiful and really helped to relax. The detox program was well organised. It started with a medical consultation and body analysis - it was interesting. The spa treatments were fantastic - especially loved the detox massage and mineral baths. The ROI spa area is very nice, with a Finnish and Turkish sauna. The biggest surprise was how much the magnesium water helped. We had to drink it 3 times a day plus the detox drinks and honestly by day 3 we felt so much more energetic. The mineral baths were also very relaxing. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Even the detox food was good - we were afraid it would be boring but the chefs did a great job, preparing healthy meals that were really tasty. The facilities like the thermal pool and fitness centre were great. Loved the morning yoga and aqua aerobics. Overall, it was just what we needed. Came home feeling refreshed and much healthier. Already thinking about booking again next year!
