I purchased a ONE night stay for a friend of mine. I made a reservation and made payment for one night. Hotel Martinihof for some reason decided that it would be ok for them and without telling me, without a reservation, without for-warning, they would charge an extra three nights on my credit card. I contact them by email and they said it was a misunderstanding but wouldn’t refund my credit card. Fortunately, I filed a claim with my credit card company who did their investigation and agreed with me that Hotel Martinihof couldn’t do what they did. I wouldn’t stay here and I advise that you don’t stay here either. It took almost 2 months for me to get my money back. Hotel Martinihof, you really should be ashamed of yourself.

Stadthotels sind zwar eher klein, unser Zimmer aber war winzig, im Bad konnte man sich kaum umdrehen, in der Dusche schimmelte es kräftig, die Matratzen waren durchgelegen - mit Kuhle. Nachts ins Bad zu gehen ist entweder nur in absoluter Dunkelheit oder mit zu viel Licht möglich. Die Rezeption ist entgegen der Ankündigung längstens bis 22 Uhr geöffnet, bei späterer Anreise wird es umständlich, auch der Aufzug ist dann im Tiefschlaf. Dem Frühstücksraum droht Überfüllung, deshalb soll am Vorabend die gewünschte Frühstückszeit bereits bekannt gegeben werden. Parkplatz gab es auch nicht mehr, da kommen dann erhebliche Zusatzkosten dazu. Dies ist bei den Preisen ärgerlich, wenige Minuten entfernt bietet ein Hotel für diesen Preis sehr viel bessere Zimmer, überhaupt mehr Platz und Raum, und sogar Sauna. Frühstück war in Ordnung, werktags etwas bescheidener, nachlegen zäh.
