Location: The hotel is centrally located near Mall Road, providing easy access to local attractions yet offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowd. Shuttle services are available for convenient travel to and from the Mall Road.

I spent 2 nights/3 days in Mussoorie and had a genuinely wonderful stay at WelcomeHeritage Kasmanda Palace Hotel. The staff were consistently kind, shared detailed local tips, and handled every request quickly—turning a good trip into a great one. Clean spaces and a calm atmosphere sealed the deal. I’d happily stay again. If you’re planning to stay here, please note: - You cannot drive directly to the hotel. Ask your driver to drop you at the Mall Road entrance, then call the hotel. - From the Mall Road entrance, go to the hotel approach by walking / cycle rickshaw / or with a porter’s help. (I used a porter and paid INR 150 in cash—cash only.) - After you call, the hotel’s pickup vehicle will meet you at the approach. - Take the pickup vehicle to the hotel. (There’s a steep incline from the approach to the property—vehicle is strongly recommended.)

Kasmanda Palace is a lovely heritage property which is very well maintained and well located The place is filled with history and the spacious royal rooms carry the same feeling. The staff is very helpful and polite. When we arrived in Mussoorie it was raining. Local regulations do not allow taxis beyond the Library chowk so one is expected to walk 200m with bags to the base of the hill where the hotel is located and then they can send their vehicle down to pick up the guests This would have been very difficult in the rains. Priya, from reception, was in constant touch and arranged for us to park elsewhere from where the hotel vehicle could pick us up. The rooms were very clean and Jasveer and his housekeeping team were very prompt and efficient. The food was good and most dishes were very good. The service by Shoorvir and his team was very attentive. The food portions are very generous and one should order fewer dishes than usual. The property has a lovely view of the Dehradun valley from various vantage points. There is also a pretty lawn and a tea garden.
