The hot springs warmed up very well. The view from the room was also great. When I opened the window, I was able to enjoy a really nice panorama of the mountains and have a good rest. Of course, the food was delicious, and I had a lot of refills of rice. In addition, we want to stay in autumn.

We booked this for the traditional Japanese Lodge/Onsen experience and it did deliver. It is very basic living and only for those who want to experience the traditional stay and hospitality. I rated it good as it delivered what we expected. There are no creature comforts and you sleep on a traditional futon which was surprisingly comfortable. The staff are very accommodating, helpful and polite. The location is in a village so there are no places to go out.

There was hair in the indoor bath The food was disappointing because the hot water in the open-air bath was not replaced, and the wallpaper in the room was peeling off here and there.

Not barrier free. It was stated on the website that there were amenities in the dressing room, but there were none. It's an old building, so it can't be helped, but the noise from other rooms is very loud. It's so loud that it wakes you up in the morning.

The photo on the website looked like a very nice inn, so I stayed there for one night with my family in early June. When I parked my car in the parking lot and headed towards the entrance with my carrying case in tow, I saw an employee watering the flowers, but he didn't say ``welcome'' or offer to help me carry my luggage. I was surprised that there wasn't one. I stayed in a bed room, but the curtains were torn, there was no electricity, and there were a lot of dead midges in the electric umbrella, which made me feel sick. became. What surprised me most was that when I was served tea, the teacup was held in my hands. Isn't it unthinkable in customer service to grab the part of the customer's mouth with your fingers? To be honest, the bathroom was also small and not very comfortable. I think Myoko Onsen is a hot spring with a long history. And now that all the other inns are out of business, I think Kofukan is the only inn that is still open, so I think if they reconsidered their customer service and room cleaning, it would become an even better inn. Good luck.
