Perfectly located near Vik and wonderful views out of every window. Ocean out the front and horses.

Brilliant spot to explore the attractions in the south of Iceland. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Was an easy check-in and they even left a book full of instructions on how to do things in the guesthouse and recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay, despite heavy rain and strong winds during our two-night visit. The apartment was well provisioned overall (a microwave would have been nice) and clean. I did stump my toe multiple times as there is a "ledge" between the main room and bathroom, but finally learned my lesson :) The one area of improvement is communication/check-in. We were not provided any instructions ahead of time, and no one replied to the message I sent that morning to confirm the check-in process, so I just knocked on the main house door when we arrived at 5PM. The young women who answered had me follow her into the house, but that felt very awkward going through their laundry room with all of their personal items - especially as it turned out that the apartment was open and the key on the table. I would recommend just letting occupants know ahead of time which apartment they were assigned so guests could go straight there.

Property host was not easy to communicate with and not very friendly, which was surprising considering the rental units are right on the family’s driveway. I had to go up to the family home to ask what unit I would be staying in, to which a child answered the door. Odd check in process, but the unit itself is nice. Spacious and clean and good location.

Nice cottage, in the neighbourhood of Vík. Very good facilities ( even a dishwasher we didn’t use. And we liked there was no television. There is so much to see in the surroundings and we all are in the need of quiet places. Highly recommended!

It was superb, we loved the countryside and the apartment had everything we needed, including amazing views, perfect to disconect but also close from main attractions from Vik, I'll definelty go back. The owners also leave you some chocolate and a guide to main things you need to know, I really appreceiated that. Its easy to find and parking is huge, also includes wifi but we barely didnt use it, we had breakfast on the porch looking at the endless fields and ocean. It was our favorite place to stay among all the places we tried on the south, very peaceful !
