Spark by Hilton Mystic Groton

Good clean centrally located motel type hotel in quite part of Mystic Spacious clean newly upgraded rooms with private bathrooms and separated sink outside of bathroom. Would have liked to have sink INSIDE bath as well. Housekeeping staff friendly and willing to help with needed items. TV in room did not work upon check-in late in the day but was replaced promptly the next morning with very pleasant maintenance person. Breakfast was adequate. Bagels were fresh and hard boiled eggs soft and tasty and Folgers coffee was delicious as was fresh squeezed orange juice Besides the above-mentioned sink location and TV mishap , I would give Spark excellent review and would happily stay there again on my next visit to Mystic Seaport.

This place was just “okay” at best. It was clean enough and it looked like the outdoor pool was nice (we didn’t have a chance to use it), but the whole layout of the hotel was odd- It’s basically a big square but you check in on a bottom level and the check in area is dark and unappealing. The person checking us in was friendly, but a bit odd- the whole “vibe” of the place was just off. I expected it to be nicer for a Hilton.

Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, convenient location and complimentary breakfast

For example there was not toilet brush, and not foucet with flexible tube. We could not use the wifi and the man in the reception gave us a phone no to ask them how to solve the problem instead of doing it himself. Poor service "by Hilton"

It was an amazing experience, must return
