From the name Azumino Hotaka View Hotel, I thought it would be a hotel with a great view, but the room on the first floor only had a view of the courtyard, so I couldn't see any view. The equipment in the room is also not good. There was only a mirror in the bathroom, and there was no vanity or full-length mirror. No glass cups either. Drinking whiskey in the room was also terrible as it was in a plastic cup. It was not a hotel worth the price.

It feels old, unlike the atmosphere of the homepage. The wine that you can drink for one coin in the lobby was very good, and the breakfast was very delicious with a lot of variety. The staff was also polite and very nice. Unfortunately, perhaps because I chose the most standard room, it was dim and smelled of mold, the futon was flimsy, and there was no air conditioning, only a dial-type fan. The bath is far away, and I know it's deep in the mountains, but the open-air bath was full of moths and insects and felt disgusting, so I couldn't go in. There were quite a few small insects floating in the indoor bath as well. There was so much hair in the changing room that I thought it was unsanitary. There are almost no amenities, so you have to bring your own. Unfortunately, I won't be going again.

The hotel was in the mountains and the environment was good and clean.
It was difficult to go far from the room to both the large public bath and the open-air bath.
I couldn't make a reservation for dinner, so I was introduced to an outside restaurant.
It was cheap and delicious, and I was able to use the hotel coupon, so it was a great value. The person in charge at the front desk was very kind and helpful. There are two golf courses in the immediate vicinity.
