There are trams and buses nearby with frequent services, which is quite convenient. The hostel is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. It is not recommended to bring large suitcases. The reception staff is very enthusiastic, just like returning to a relative's house. There are many people staying here, and there is only one bathroom, so you need to queue up. You can store your things for free, but there are no lockers or locks. Washing machines and dryers are available for a fee, and you can also go to the rooftop to dry clothes. Unfortunately, I was unable to stay because my reservation coincided with the week that Typhoon Shanshan hit, and all flights, buses, and trains were canceled. I tried to change the date of my stay, but they wouldn't let me, and I ended up paying for the night without even staying there. I can't comment on the accommodation itself, but I thought they were pretty inflexible with my reservation — and I didn't even ask for a refund, I just wanted to change it to a date when I could arrive!

Great guest house, very cosy and with a lovely common room with complimentary tea and coffee and views to Dejima. Next to Chinatown and also to excellent transport links to other places of interest in Nagasaki. Free towels, replaced daily, and toiletries are also a nice touch and if you need to do your laundry the washing machine takes bigger loads than the ones in other accomodations.Takako San, the owner, took really good care of me while I stayed there and also sorted Takkyubin for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
