Excellent food (breakfast and dinner, be sure to be hungry to enjoy fully). The onsen is the most beautiful and relaxing we ever had so far, especially under the snow today. Staff is nice and helpful. No regrets in choosing this hotel during our trip in the Japanese Alps

Great hotel, wish i had more time there but was a overnight stay for old nakensendo hiking. Great service, also for future reference futons not for me.

This hotel is outstanding for its onsen, and buffet breakfast and dinner.

Wow! Amazing hotel, difficult to get to on foot but actually close to the nakasendo trail. The rooms are authentic traditional Japanese, fantastic buffet, incredible onsen, we highly recommend this if you are hiking the nakasendo trail.

We only stayed at Hotel Kisoji for one night, for hiking between Magome and Tsumago on the Nakasendo trail. The Japanese-style room was very spacious and clean. My husband enjoyed the onsen after the hike. We also enjoyed the buffet dinner and breakfast, both offering a very good spread of tasty food. Location-wise, we had to take a taxi from Tsumago to the hotel as the bus service is not very regular and the road to the hotel is really not so safe for pedestrians, not to mention the incline uphill. We also took a taxi to the Nagiso station. Staff was helpful in calling the cab for us and the cab fares are quite reasonable. Overall, a good stay in a good hotel.

Convenient transportation, direct bus access. The room is very comfortable and the hygiene is very good. The bathhouse is great.

This is my second time at Linial. The hot spring is the best. I've been to many hot springs before, but this one was very good, and I went there four times this time. I think the food wasn't much different from the last time. The alcohol service is good for people who can drink, but my husband and I don't drink much either. The room was comfortable. My husband was surprised at how warm the futon was. We turned off the heating and slept at night. After getting on the 11am bus, I remembered that I left my shawl in the room, so I asked the front desk to send it to me cash on delivery. It was hectic, but I'm glad we were able to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary. The training of the employees is wonderful. Please keep up the good work.

The alcohol was very satisfying, with a wide selection of wine and sake from Nagano Prefecture. The food was also satisfactory, including dinner, soba noodles for a midnight snack, and breakfast. More than that, the hot springs were more satisfying than expected. I'll definitely be coming back.

The hotel is very big and the hot springs feel great. The meal is a buffet with many varieties. The hotel has a good environment and is a bit far from Tsumago-juku, but there is a shuttle bus. Health: good Service: Fair

Magome-juku and Tsumago-juku are both a little far away. The food is good (both dinner and breakfast are buffets) The bath is large and nice, but far from the room. The room is large and good.

The hot spring was large and nice. The rice was buffet style, but there were quite a lot of varieties. It is a level that is very pleasing to families with children.

All-you-can-eat Haagen-Dazs ice cream was good. French toast was also delicious. There were many types of buffets. The quality of the hot spring was good and it became slippery.

전체적으로 깔끔하고 직원 분들이 굉장히 친절합니다. 체크아웃 기계 한국어 지원 하구요. 하지만 지리적 이점은 없습니다. 나카쓰가와 역까지 가는 셔틀은 있습니다. 1인당 100엔 정도 가격입니다. 잘 놀다 갑니다~

Largish, well appointed hotel with onsen along Nakasendo and close to Tsumago and Nagiso. Well run and clean, good food and free flow of alcohol at bar. You can choose the design of your yukata. Good size rooms with ensuite toilet and bath. A bit far though so a taxi will be necessary
