The Cypress Mercure Hotel Nagoya

Traveling with family, we booked three rooms in total. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I'd read reviews saying the facilities were old, but I didn't find that to be the case at all; at least, the Premier Twin Rooms we booked had perfectly adequate facilities. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Nagoya Station, with many restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It would be even better if they had self-service laundry, an ice machine, and a microwave, as most hotels I've stayed at in Japan usually offer these amenities. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd say it's quite a good value for money hotel near Nagoya Station.

Although the hotel is a bit dated overall, its location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Nagoya Station, and the rooms are quite spacious. The service was very thoughtful; on our second stay, they had already opened the connecting door between our two rooms based on our preferences from our first visit and had placed our luggage, which we had stored at the hotel, into the room beforehand.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff greeted me politely. It's conveniently located, with a convenience store nearby and good transport links. Shopping wasn't far either. The room was also quite spacious, and they even offered two complimentary drinks from the hotel bar! Not bad at all.

Close to the station, with convenience stores, izakayas, and restaurants nearby. The room environment is great and spacious. It's so much better than hotels of the same caliber in Tokyo. The air conditioning is quiet, the temperature is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious.

Quite a good experience overall. The hotel room was relatively spacious, and it even came with a sofa set and a desk setup, which is quite rare for a standard twin room in Japan.
