Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Nagoya

Asked for a room, got the exact opposite of what I requested. High floor away from lift. So they gave me almost the lowest floor, literally next to the lifts. I booked months in advance, too. The lift itself isn't noisy, but obviously guests are. And sadly these guests were Japanese locals. A family who clearly had zero control over their children. Other problems, the onsen has no cold bath, all three baths are the same temperature, and the reclining bath has no purpose except to allow you to lie down. Plus seeing someone the member of a certain family covered in tattoos is a little frightening for my son. All this despite the signs stating no tattoos. Location is great for metro lines and for the IG Arena, if that's the reason for your visit. I would also appreciate the same manners in English that the staff provide local Japanese. Especially if the staff is already fluent in English. We too have polite ways of speaking to customers.

Overall the room and toilet is clean and the staffs are friendly.

The rooftop bath is very nice, considering the fact that it is quite hard to enjoy one in urban areas.

The room is quite tiny but has everything you need (A bit struggle with opening my 28" luggage tho even I stayed alone). 5 mins walk to Mirai tower.

Location a little bit off the bustling sakae area, have to walk like 10-15min to reach dondondonki, room is comfy, with good lighting, there’s a few laundry machine to use, public bath is ok I felt the water is not hot enough otherwise is well equipped.

Location, good, 7-11, Familymart, Lawson just nearby, 1-5mins walk only. Restaurants nearby, easy to get supper at late night. Carparks nearby, easy for parking. Smart TV in the room, Youtube, Netflix, Disney+ available Hotel's breakfast buffet and public Spa were nice too.
