I was unsure what to expect as the hotel is slightly remote and we did not have a car. Read that there is a shuttle bus but I request twice on the schedule via trip app but received no response 🤨
Had to request a Japanese hotel that we stayed before prince to help us check out the timing of the bus schedule and we also went to travel information counter and finally got the timing. Phew.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly. Special shout out to Peter from Canada who is born and raised in Hokkaido. He is such a nice and warm person who offered us lots of advice around Onuma. Prince hotel is very lucky to have a staff like him!! 👍

I was not disappointed by the corner house.
It was really nice.
The corner house on the first floor felt like living in autumn.
The big hot spring was just like that.
There is a pork chop restaurant nearby. It is delicious. It is a chain restaurant.
There are many delicious foods in Hokkaido. Maybe the ingredients are very good.

The hotel itself is really too old, and it is strongly recommended to carry out renovation projects. The only best thing is the outdoor hot spring area. You can hear the chirping of birds, and the sunshine shining on the lake in the morning is really beautiful.
But the hotel/room facilities are really old, the faucets still have to be turned on, and the screens by the windows also look very dated.

My daughter and I took the wrong bus from Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station and arrived at Hakodate Station before 8pm.
