Upon check in and check out took a few minutes for someone to come to the desk, but wasn’t a huge deal. It’s just nice to always see someone at the desk makes you feel like someone is always there and ready to help you in anyway, it more hospitable. They just check us in, we’re polite but not warm or friendly. Just felt they were there to do their job, not rude just not friendly. The headboards to the beds where roughed up a bit but other then that it was pretty clean. The wait staff in the pub was very nice! In all truth 175$ /night for a small town of a port Alberni and it being the middle of January…..eeee a little pricy. But it was what we needed, quiet, had a restaurant on site and a pool (we didn’t get a chance to use the pool so can not comment on that). I’ve worked in a few hotels in my life and this one was alright.

This was our second stay...we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else! Bed and linens were superior. Fridge and microwave are essential. Staff is kind and helpful.

Has to make last minute reservation late in the evening. Syaff on the desk was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of.

Someone at the front desk called us before we arrived to warn.
First and only time this has ever happened.
