Beyond the official Tulou attractions, the proprietress also took us to a private spot (Pic 3). It was a lovely place where adults could enjoy tea and conversation, while children could play in the water and even try catching fish. It was absolutely wonderful! It truly felt like an escape to a secluded paradise – incredibly quiet, and there wasn't even any phone signal. A perfect opportunity to completely relax and unwind. Pictures 1 and 2 showcase the collection of old furniture and farming tools the proprietress has curated on the guesthouse's rooftop. It's a very thoughtful touch, and city kids found them particularly fascinating.
The staff at this guesthouse were all incredibly warm and welcoming, which made for a great experience. Both dinner and breakfast were homemade here and tasted delicious. It was lovely to take a refreshing 50-minute walk in the cool morning air.
Just a short walk over a small bridge, the adjacent village features several traditional Hakka fortified houses. The oldest of these structures date back 800 years, while the most recent began construction in 1964.
The surrounding fields are beautiful, filled with rice paddies, lotus flowers, and passion fruit. Breathing in the fresh morning air from the fields was truly invigorating.
One minor suggestion: we couldn't locate the switch for the bathroom exhaust fan during our entire stay, even after trying all the available switches. I'm sure there's one, but clearer labeling would be very helpful.
I would like to thank all staffs for making our 2 nights stay so comfortable and amazing. They are all very helpful and their services are really wonderful. The place is very neat and clean.
I brought my 16 months old girl to the retreat. They have specifically prepared her dinner based on my requirement and I must say that their food are really very delicious.
Highly recommend for this retreat! Will definitely come back to this place again when I am here again.

I saw on Xiaohongshu that Guoguo's mom recommended this hotel. I ate at the hotel on my first night, and the food was okay. As long as you don't have too high expectations, it's acceptable. After all, the conditions in the village are definitely not as good as in cities like Xiamen. The service was almost non-existent, but they were at least polite to people. The hygiene was quite clean, but the mosquitoes there were really terrible. I didn't see any mosquitoes, but I saw huge welts on my hands and legs.
It was a very special and wonderful 2-night stay. We loved everything about the property, especially the breakfast and tea gifts. The staff, from the reception to the kitchen, and the owner, whom we ran into and had a little chat, were all so friendly, and that made you feel very much welcome. We highly recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in Taxia Village.
The experience brought by this price is really worth it. Every space in the whole homestay is very beautiful, and the decorator is crazy about collecting some inspiration. In addition, the air in Tasha Village is very good. After staying for two days, I feel like I can live two more years.
The B&B is located in a scenic area, which is basically surrounded by trees and mountains, so the surrounding environment is very quiet, the air is fresh, and the streams are gurgling, which makes people feel very comfortable. Indoors, the decoration style is simple and warm, and the facilities are complete, from air conditioning, bathing facilities to network and projection equipment.
The lady boss was very nice. Since there weren't many people there, she upgraded us to a suite. The room was very clean, the viewing platform was first-class, and it was a very distinctive homestay. The quietness at night made you feel very comfortable. When you go out, you will reach Tasha Village, a very distinctive village.
Fun experience staying in a tulou! As the listing says, it's a shared bathroom outside the tulou structure and a plastic bucket outside your room if you need to pee in the middle of the night and don't want to go out far. Bring your own toilet paper and soap just in case they've run out in the shared bathrooms. The room itself was nice and ours on the top floor had a window. Power and wifi worked great. The hostess was super kind and brought us to our room, made sure we could find our way back, and offered us tea. I'd recommend for the unique experience!
The guesthouse boasts an exceptional location, nestled right within the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster. Being the first establishment directly beneath the main viewing platform, it offers unparalleled convenience for guests to ascend and admire the panoramic scenery multiple times, both at dawn and dusk.
The owner's hospitality was outstanding. He proactively shared route suggestions that helped us avoid numerous inconveniences, saved significant costs, navigated tricky junctions, and led us to many distinctive sights, including fruit groves, forests, and tea fields.
Regarding the accommodations, it's important to remember this is a mountain setting, and with the recent rainy season, facilities are understandably modest. However, the pricing reflects this context and provides an authentic, rustic experience that urban hotels simply can't offer.
Above all, the food here is absolutely scrumptious! Dining in is a must to savor their delicious Hakka-style cuisine.
My biggest takeaway is the owner's genuine warmth and the wonderfully relaxing mountain environment, offering a perfect, temporary escape from the city's ceaseless clamor.

AAnonymous UserThe homestay opened by the old village chief is the most convenient to play in the Hekeng Tulou. The old village chief is very enthusiastic, and the homestay is still very new, better than the photo.
LLiantangquanzhilongXinyuan Inn is located in Taxia Village, between the famous Tianluokeng Tulou Group, Hekeng Tulou Group, and Shiqiao Tulou Group. It is very close to these villages. Taxia Village is also the core area of the Nanjing Tulou Group tourist attraction. I want to visit Tianluo It is a very good choice for tourists from Keng, Taxia, Hekeng, and Shiqiao villages to choose this inn to stay. The service facilities of Xinyuan Inn are very complete. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic. The accommodation is good, clean and hygienic, and the price is beautiful. It also provides many local special agricultural products with high quality. I am a repeat customer, staying at this inn for the second time. If I have the opportunity to come to Nanjing Tulou Scenic Area later, I will book this inn.
SSuiyueliushengI sincerely comment on Tage B&B. The first is the cleanliness, the second is the good environment, the third is the affordable price, and the fourth is the service provided by the proprietress. You can stay here for both food and accommodation. It really feels like going home. If you come to Taxia again , I still choose Tage B&B.
GGuest UserSatisfied with the conditions, satisfactory location, good boss, the boss is very hardworking, get up early in the morning to wash the sheets, the air in the scenic area is really good, we came in late without tickets.
MM334147****It's very close to Dongwaixisixian and very convenient. It's suitable for self-driving. The boss is very enthusiastic and introduces the scenic spots to us. It's very convenient to have a restaurant at home. However, the restroom facilities are a bit old and could be repaired.
GGuest UserJust near the observation deck on Tianluokeng Four Vegetables and One Soup, parking on the roadside is convenient. The boss and the wife are very enthusiastic. The bathroom in the room is a bit small, the washbasin faucet has no hot water, and it is probably not connected to the hot water pipe. This is very unreasonable.
3300641****I saw the Tulou and really liked it, the crystallization of the wisdom of the old ancestors. The proprietress also took us to the ecological park to play. This time it was too worthwhile. The air was really good. I also ate two meals at his house. I have to say that the boss’s food is delicious. Both meals are CD-ROM actions [screaming teeth] The rooms are very clean and hygienic. There is also a large balcony upstairs where you can dry clothes and you can see the earth building. Very good experience, next time you come to live in your home,
GGuest UserThe environment is good. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the scenic spot. It is very close and very comfortable. Open the window and you can see the beautiful terraced field scenery. There were a little more people during the eleventh period, but it was still much less than other scenic spots. It was comfortable and comfortable. I want to live here One month, hahaha
Breakfast is also good, 10 yuan a piece, okay, there are dishes, eggs and buns, in short, I am very satisfied
