Hotels in Yunshuiyao Ancient Town, Nanjing

The accommodation feels good, the room is hygienic and clean, the layout is simple and elegant. I especially like the beautiful scenery that can be seen through the two large glass windows. The boss is an enthusiastic person, and the dishes he cooks are delicious, especially the steamed light fish, which is delicious. One thing to note is that the bath water is an electric water heater, and the stored hot water is only enough for one person. The next person has to wait for the water to be boiled before washing. You need to be patient.

The weather was perfect when I went there, and I could see beautiful scenery from the room. The location and hardware facilities of the B&B are good, and the service is also very good. You can ask the owner directly about what to eat and what to do in Yunshuiyao. The scenic area is not big, but it is very suitable for slowing down life and drinking tea and daydreaming under the banyan tree by the stream.

真的很有必要住進水雲遙裏面，一早一晚避開人潮，可以更好的欣賞土樓風貌，這個民宿位置很好，就在幾個景點的中間，去哪裡都很方便，房間非常乾淨，樓下還有餐廳和咖啡廳可以發發呆，還有小點心茶點，我們訂了兩間，其中一間有個小廳，感覺還是要訂帶小廳的好，小房間略顯擠，不太好涼衣服，不過天氣好的話，不介意的話，可以涼到外面他們涼被子的那邊棚裏，一家老小一起經營的民宿，媽媽負責廚房，煮的菜超級好吃，兩夫妻負責雜務招待客人，另一位媽媽爸爸負責收拾還做了一些話梅陳皮等小吃，味道做得也不錯，一家子一起勤勤懇懇經營，也樂也融融，突然好生羨慕，臨走還送了我們一些伴手禮，非常感謝！唯一不足可以改進的就是，淋浴間可以做個門，這樣水就不會外濺

The staff is hospitable and caring like family. They not only contacted me in advance to confirm the itinerary, but also personally greeted me at the intersection when I arrived, helped with my luggage, and made me feel full of care. After check-in, whether it is about local food recommendations or play guides, they can give detailed and practical suggestions, so that I, a foreign tourist, can easily avoid ”thunder” and enjoy the fun of traveling. The public area of the homestay is also very good. There is a beautiful courtyard with various flowers and green plants. Sitting in the yard in the morning, breathing the fresh air, listening to the birds' songs, as if you are in a paradise. There is also a cafe, with books and musical instruments. You can read books here in your spare time, or chat with other guests and share the stories of the journey. This atmosphere is really intoxicating. It is especially worth mentioning that there is a children's amusement park. Especially suitable for family trips, many children have a great time together, highly recommended

We stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags. The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required. Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100. The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old. When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage. The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy. The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening. The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day. There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu. The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse. The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

A very beautiful hotel with the structure in wood of an old tulou and a fishpond in the center of the courtyard. It was very peaceful. You really have the feeling of living in a tulou and you have a little balcony with a splendid view of the courtyard and the roof. You are awaken by the sounds of the birds in the morning, it is really a unique experience. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor. They should also add a curtain to the window near the bed.

The hotel is located next to the scenic spot, with convenient transportation, clean and sanitary, and the stay experience is ok. ps: The scenery of the ancient town is average, not worth the ticket price, the charges for the earth buildings are unreasonable, there is a problem of double charging, and the whole day's experience is average.

Good place to relax. Good Breakfast with various food. Nice Hotel for kids. They have kids club, DIY Centre. The location is only 10-15mins walking distance to Yunshuiyao. Unfortunately, they didnt provide any shuttle bus to/from Nanjing Railway Station. You could book a taxi in front of the station. Limited didi driver if you would like to hop in hop off around the area. I will suggest you to book in advance

The tatami-style room is very suitable for bringing children. The boss is very good at providing service, and parking and check-in are all arranged properly. The Shiwei restaurant at the door is affordable and delicious, and guests can get discounts. Although Yunshuiyao is crowded, the B&B is very good and I like it very much.

A ”big fish seagull” let me come here, I have seen it in my dream! Tulou, big banyan tree, small bridge and flowing water, pastoral scenery, are so beautiful! This time I chose to travel freely. I booked the hotel on the platform in advance. In the ”Fanchen Xiaoyuan” in the scenic area, the boss is a warm and refreshing handsome guy. The small courtyard is warm and elegant, and the room is spacious, bright and clean. What's more, it is in the middle of the scenic spot, very close to the big banyan tree, and it is especially convenient to play. I also recommended a niche attraction ﹣﹣ Meilin Ancient Town according to my itinerary, and free pick-up and drop-off. It's really beautiful here, plum blossoms are in full bloom, and there are few people and beautiful scenery. It is suitable for a quiet daze. It is highly recommended to everyone! If you go to the Tulou and there are too many people or want to go upstairs to take pictures, you can come here! Like the value-added service of Fanchen Xiaoyuan!
