The hotel compound was large and surrounded by nature, making it a good place to take a break from the city. The traditional houses are charming on the outside but comfortable inside with modern amenities. When we arrived, we were told that the room we booked only had two beds but the receptionist helped us upgrade to a larger room, which was spacious. The service was warm and friendly, especially the restaurant staff who were very patient. We had dinner there both nights and the food was delicious (just a tad salty). The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh. The only minor issue I could think of is that the cobblestone paths made it difficult to drag our luggage.

The B&B is located deep in Wuxiang Mountain and has contracted an ancient village. It is very primitive and living here feels like a retreat from the world.
