Very central location, Ms. Ding and Koui are very nice and welcome. The room is also very clean. Would definitely come back again.

The room and service were both very good, and the facilities were decent. I booked it based on the amenities listed on Ctrip, and for the price, the experience was certainly fitting, as I'm not a particularly demanding guest. The location was excellent, right opposite Deji Plaza. It's a shame, though; despite being so close, I didn't get the chance to visit Deji or any of the department stores. Sometimes, things are just like that – so near, yet so far.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The environment is beautiful, and our stay was incredibly comfortable. The service from one particular lady was absolutely outstanding – she was so warm and hospitable, and I truly appreciated her. They even offered various complimentary snacks, which was a very thoughtful touch. I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance. We came to Nanjing for a weekend getaway with our child. After checking out many hotels online, we finally booked the Nanjing Central Hotel. Our main reason for choosing it was its excellent location, being very close to both the subway station and Xinjiekou. The check-in process was smooth and the service was great, and the room was clean. During our stay, we had a minor incident: our child suddenly developed a stomach ache, and we had to rush to the hospital. Worried we wouldn't make it back in time for check-out, we reached out to the hotel. They were incredibly understanding and promptly arranged for a late check-out for us. Their service was exceptionally accommodating. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

We visited three cities on this trip, and Nanjing was my daughter's absolute favorite – I'm convinced the Nanjing Central Hotel was 99% of the reason! The hotel staff made us feel completely at home. Every single person, from the front desk, the lobby, the housekeeping team, and at breakfast, offered such warm and thoughtful service. As a lovely parting gesture, they even gave our little one some delicious treats. We are truly grateful! My daughter even said she wants to return to Nanjing, all thanks to the Nanjing Central Hotel.

The room was spotless and well-organized. The bathroom featured a thoughtful layout with separate wet and dry areas, including both a bathtub and a shower. Thanks to what seemed like high-quality windows, the room was very quiet once they were closed. It was equipped with all the necessary amenities, though there wasn't a robot service. However, if you order takeout, the front desk is happy to deliver it right to your room. The location is incredibly convenient, directly opposite Deji Plaza. There are also numerous other major shopping malls nearby, and it's very close to various tourist attractions, making it ideal for shopping and dining. The service was outstanding; they were extremely responsive to all requests. Overall, this is likely the closest five-star hotel to Deji Plaza. I highly recommend booking the Deluxe King Room.

We had a wonderful stay at Central Hotel Nanjing! The staff kindly upgraded our room at no extra charge, and the deposit process was easy and smooth. Housekeeping even made a towel rabbit—such a sweet touch! Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of delicious options: fresh milk, soya, wantons, soup, stir-fried veggies, and more. We couldn’t resist having several bowls of their wantons in just one morning! Special thanks to Ms. ChunHong Dong, the Golden Cedar Bay Manager, who made us feel incredibly welcomed. Knowing we were foreigners, she personally greeted us, checked on our sleep quality, offered late check-out, and even provided a special menu with more familiar options for international guests. Her recommendation of the local Nanjing specialty, Glutinous Rice Ball (resembling YuHuaShi), was so delightful that I ordered it again the next day. The pizza and Nan Jing Duck Fat Puffy Pie was also excellent. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city on foot. If I return to Nanjing, I will definitely stay at Central Hotel again. Highly recommended!

Great experience! The location is very close to the famous Deji Plaza and it’s a short taxi away from fun attractions. The manager 小蒋 is super enthusiastic and goes above and beyond. My Chinese is not so good but they helped me with everything from receiving my packages to cleaning my room when asked. I was even offered generously offered upgrades during my stay and the rooms were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend! :)

Similar to previous reviews, staff and service were impeccable. Room decor is definitely dated but genuinely has everything you would need and cleanliness and thoughtfulness made up for it - plus unbeatable price when you factor in location!

Great hotel and very professional staff who take care of all the needs of the guests. The hotel manager came and made sure that we had a nice stay. The location is excellent, in the city centre and the central business district. We enjoyed the clean rooms and the amazing breakfast. We will come back in the future.

I honestly don’t have enough words to explain how good this hotel is. The location is perfect—right in the center of Nanjing, directly opposite Deji Plaza— making it incredibly convenient. What truly sets this hotel apart is the people. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome. The front desk team was extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to assist with anything I needed. The restaurant staff were equally wonderful. Since I am a foreigner, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, often bringing me different salads and soups to try, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Room service was excellent, and the amenities were top-notch. My room was spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I also have to mention the doormen who helped with our vehicle and luggage. They quickly became so friendly and welcoming, greeting me every time I passed by. I even found myself waving back to them. it was such a small but heartwarming part of my stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded every expectation. The perfect combination of location, service, and comfort. I can’t ask for anything more and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanjing.

Hotel is a bit old but everything works fine. Location is good, very close to the shopping mall.
