Atour Hotel Nanning Chaoyang Square Subway Station

Compared to other Atour hotels, this particular one was quite disappointing. The building houses multiple hotels, and while the facilities are largely similar, Atour's price was over 200 RMB more expensive. I stayed two nights at Atour and one at Hanting. Interestingly, Hanting's room was significantly larger. Atour's breakfast was extensive but pricey, though they did offer complimentary late-night congee. Hanting's breakfast, on the other hand, was cheaper with fewer options and no free late-night snack. Atour had dedicated elevators, whereas Hanting's were shared. All things considered, I would honestly recommend staying at Hanting instead.

It's located directly opposite Chaoyang Plaza. The building's exterior looks a bit dated, and it houses five different hotels. The location is quite convenient – it's a 5-minute walk to the subway station and about a 10-minute walk to Sanjie Liangxiang. The room is a bit small, but it's well-equipped and has everything you need. As expected from Atour, the cleanliness was consistently excellent. The downside is that rooms facing Chaoyang Plaza can be quite noisy. Luckily, the square dancing stops after 10 PM, and closing the windows does a good job of blocking out much of the noise. I usually choose Atour specifically for their comfortable pillows and mattresses, but unfortunately, at this branch, I found both the pillows and mattress to be a bit too soft, leading to a restless night. Breakfast was also pretty mediocre. I had originally booked for two nights, but ended up canceling the second one.

The service was very friendly, and the staff were patient in answering any questions I had. The location is excellent, being very close to Nanning Station, Chaoyang Square, and Xiguan Night Market. There are also plenty of great food options nearby.

It's always reassuring to stay at an Atour hotel; the familiar setup consistently puts my mind at ease. The pillows are incredibly comfortable, perfect for unwinding and getting some rest after a long day of travel!

Atour Hotels are always my first choice when I travel, and their service is consistently excellent. The only small drawback at this particular location was the lack of in-room coffee sachets. On the plus side, they offer self-service laundry and drying facilities. Plus, there's a fantastic market nearby with all sorts of delicious food, which I really enjoyed exploring.

The location is excellent, right by Sanjie Liangxiang, making it very convenient for evening walks and exploring. The interior environment is fantastic, and the service was warm and friendly. While the exterior surroundings are nothing special, the breakfast was good, and they even offered Laoyou Fen. Highly recommended!
