Ming Du Lakeside Hotel

Facilities: Although it's an established hotel, it is extremely well-maintained and the facilities feel quite new. The constant-temperature pool is fantastic—I bought a swimsuit there and had a wonderful time swimming! Cleanliness: Spotless and hygienic. This is the best sleep I've had in days! Environment: The view is unbeatable. Service: Excellent service! The handsome front desk staff answered our questions very professionally and even recommended local food. Full marks!

The hotel is grand and impressive with a great location and convenient parking. Check-in was fast, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic! There was a wide variety of food, and everything tasted delicious. You can also head up to the bar on the 52nd floor for a drink and enjoy the night view. The pillows were very comfortable too. Overall, a highly recommended five-star hotel!

The reason we chose to stay here is very simple: the triple room option is perfect for a family of three traveling together, basically a no-brainer. Five-star hotels usually offer either king-size or twin rooms, neither of which is suitable, and suites are too expensive and not cost-effective. I sincerely suggest that luxury hotels consider equipping a certain percentage of triple rooms; I believe there's a market for it. Apart from that, the hotel offers excellent views. Even though we had a city-view room, we could still enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nanhu Lake. As this is the only super-tall building in the area, I recommend going to the rooftop bar at night to enjoy the 360-degree city night view. It can be quite windy at night, so it's best to bring a jacket. The hotel's pool and gym are both good; the pool is a 25-meter pool, which is larger than average. Breakfast is definitely five-star, with a wide selection of local snacks that are just as good as those outside. In the evening, you can also experience the Langxi Night Market, which is not far and suitable for a city walk or an e-bike ride.

The room was spacious with good natural light, and the cleanliness was impeccable, with even the corners tidied up. The soundproofing was effective, so we weren't disturbed. Lily at the front desk was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend it.

Staying at this hotel for the National Day holiday was a pleasant surprise! The front desk lady was incredibly nice and enthusiastic, and check-in was quick and efficient. The location is excellent; you can see Nanhu Lake from the window. The room has panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an absolutely stunning view of the scenery outside. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. I was really satisfied with my stay this time!👍

Had a fantastic stay! I was a bit worried after reading some negative reviews before checking in, but I ended up being very satisfied, even beyond my expectations! The location is excellent. It's a 35-minute taxi ride from the airport, and about a 20-minute walk to Langxi Night Market, or 5 minutes by electric scooter. There are plenty of electric scooters around, and it's just two bus stops away. The room was very spacious, and well-equipped with amenities. The slippers and toothbrushes were good quality, and they even provided a stapler – very thoughtful! The bathroom was also large, definitely meeting five-star standards. Some people complaining about old facilities are just being overly critical; I personally think smart facilities are more of a gimmick and not that useful. I'm currently at Changliu Mountain Residence, one of the best five-star hotels in Chongzuo, and it's nearly double the price, yet the room layout and facilities don't even compare to this hotel. When I come back to Nanning, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The hotel is right across from Nanhu Park, and a friend of mine from Nanning said it has a lot of character! It's an older, established five-star hotel, so while the facilities aren't brand new, the overall feel is very comfortable, and there are plenty of amenities. They have a swimming pool, a gym, a brunch restaurant on the 48th floor, and even a 'starry sky' restaurant on the 52nd floor! The breakfast selection is extensive, with congee, various types of noodles, and Guibei oil tea. From our room, Nanhu Park was fully visible through the window – absolutely beautiful! At night, when the lights came on, it transformed into a different scene entirely; I didn't even want to close the curtains! The best part was their service. We had a flight at 8:40 PM that evening, so we requested a late check-out, and the hotel was very accommodating! We also had brunch on the 48th floor that afternoon, which was excellent. Liubao tea paired with various dim sum and snacks, all while enjoying the beautiful view of Nanhu Park outside – it was just perfect!

When I booked, I didn't realize the room was on the 35th floor! As soon as I entered and opened the curtains, I couldn't help but say "wow" – the view below was absolutely stunning! The hotel pool was also fantastic, with a constant temperature of 28 degrees, which was perfect. My child had an amazing time. In the evening, we could watch the sunset right from our room, and that day we witnessed an incredibly beautiful sunset – it was truly breathtaking!
