The location is very good, just at the disembarkation point for rafting. We were rafting with our luggage, so we went directly to the hotel to store our luggage after getting off the boat, and then went to visit Togetsukyo Bridge and Tenryuji Temple. There is a hot spring on the underground first floor of the hotel, but there are not many people. One person can take a bath in the hot spring. The Japanese service bows to you when they see you, which is really not what you are used to. There are many shops nearby, but they close early. You can eat breakfast and dinner nearby.

We, two adults and one child, stayed for 3 nights. The front desk of the hotel can only speak basic English and it is difficult to communicate. We check in at 15:00 and check out at 10:00 in the morning. When we asked the front desk for information on nearby tours, they only gave us a homemade hand-drawn map (Picture 4) of the room. The equipment is really rudimentary, there is no safe, and a very small refrigerator is placed on the ground (it is broken and does not cool at all). The air-conditioning temperature adjustment (Picture 5) can only be divided into large, medium and small. The air-conditioning is not stable, and the dehumidifier is full of water. Not working, bottled water is not provided in the room, you need to buy it yourself. We dropped our earrings under the bed, and when we picked them up, there was a lot of dust and hair. The view from the room was terrible, and we just looked at a pile of weeds that no one had taken care of. There is a large bath in the hotel basement, but it is not a hot spring. After consulting the hotel staff about the famous hot springs nearby, he recommended us to go to the nearby Fengfeng Hot Spring. However, after we went there, the experience was also very bad, and we were disappointed again. There were too many unhappy things. In the end, because we checked out late, the bill was attached with a one-hour late checkout fee. I came here with my 6-month-old baby. Can't you really be considerate? ?

Plan to stay a few more days next time. The evening banquet was great, the roast beef and sashimi were of high quality. The location of the hotel is very good, and it is the residence where Emperor Meiji once stayed, so it feels like a historical place. It should be more lively if you come during the Gion Festival in July.

The service is very good, the facilities are relatively old, and the luggage is delivered to the room early. The public bath is useless. Many guests take a bath in the morning and evening. The breakfast is Japanese style, relatively simple, with various pickles

It is a very traditional Japanese resort hotel But it feels like it used to be a high-end Japanese-style resort hotel. There are not many rooms, but the quiet atmosphere is very nice. There were not many guests staying, and it was the Japanese holiday time. I once saw a Japanese family with a large and small child staying at the hotel. The whole family wore yukata and happily went to take a bath in the large bath. It felt like they were watching Japanese cartoons and the whole family was gathered around while taking a bath (smile) Explore the hotel in the middle. The leaf garden is decorated in Japanese style and there is a typical Japanese banquet room. I feel like autumn will be more beautiful The large public bath is clean and well-organized. It’s not hot and can be reserved for one person👍🏻 This hotel is easy to get into. It’s hard to hold the gip to the left, but personally it’s ok. The breakfast meal is very typical. It mainly consists of pickles and tofu. It is easy to clean up and may not be a rocky food, but the rice is delicious. The two bowls on the left with salted plums and radishes are excellent😋 But the experience was good. The waitresses in the restaurant are older ladies. It feels like traditional Japanese style I really like Arashiyama. I will stay here again if I have the opportunity.
