Le Meridien Nantong

This newly opened hotel boasts decent hardware facilities. I'd particularly recommend trying their freshly made fish noodle soup at breakfast, it's a local specialty. I booked an executive room, but on the first night, the hot dishes during the lounge's happy hour included stir-fried garlic scapes, and the pork rib and corn soup was cold – clearly, they weren't paying attention to detail. The strangest thing happened on the second night when my room's water supply was cut off for nearly half an hour. I called the service center, and they said someone would come, but no one did. My family even went to the front desk, and they promised a resolution in an hour, but their call came an hour later than promised. All I wanted to know was why the water stopped; I didn't need complimentary fruit or wine. Yet, the feedback I received was that even the engineering department didn't have an answer. Haha, their internal management is incredibly chaotic; they really need to sort things out.

First time visiting Nantong, and this Marriott-branded hotel did not disappoint. The views are fantastic, and the location is excellent. The room was very spacious, and the facilities felt brand new. The TV was huge! Breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options, and served for a good amount of time. The swimming pool and gym on the 6th floor were both top-notch. Highly recommend for family trips.

My first impression upon entering was pure amazement – it was excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, so the distant views were obscured. Right across the street are Wanda Plaza, Sam's Club, and RT-Mart, just a road away. The hotel boasts a kids' club, swimming pool, and gym. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were warm and attentive. It's definitely worth recommending, and I'll stay here again if I return to Nantong.

We drove directly from Shanghai after school on Friday, and despite a bit of traffic, it took us about 2.5 hours. Before we even arrived, the front desk had already contacted us via WeChat, acknowledging it was our child's birthday and offering a complimentary cake and fruit. The hotel staff were professional and friendly, helping with luggage and delivering takeout. Our room was clean, tidy, and well-stocked with amenities, including hair ties and mouthwash. The toiletries were also very good. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Sandy Zoo. The executive lounge offered a light meal from 5 PM to 7 PM. The pool area is great for photos and has three different pools. The changing rooms were clean, tidy, and not damp or slippery, with plenty of towels and toiletries. The lifeguards were attentive and always watching. A special thanks to Ms. Qian, who was incredibly responsive and professional. We were very satisfied with this trip; every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and well-trained. The hotel is located next to a Courtyard by Marriott, in an excellent location with Wanda Plaza, IKEA, and Sam's Club nearby. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Sandy Zoo next time; it offers much better value for money than staying inside the park!

The hygiene was really poor. Not only was dust not cleaned properly, but there was also a biscuit from the previous guest on the floor that wasn't swept away. My baby almost picked it up to eat, which was very concerning. The breakfast was also very mediocre; they weren't refilling items in a timely manner when they ran out. Definitely not worth it!

I was very satisfied with room 3110; the view was great, and the room was quiet. When I entered the lobby, it was raining, and I almost slipped. Could the hotel implement some anti-slip measures? I didn't get to experience the executive lounge. As soon as I got to the room, I lay down. I wish there had been a latex pillow; I have trouble sleeping. The housekeeping and front desk staff were very responsive and I was extremely happy with their service! They didn't make an exception and provide an ashtray and lighter just because I was a Trip.com guest, upholding the hotel's principles, which is excellent!
