Snorkeling/Diving Opportunities: Consistently praised for exceptional reef snorkeling directly from the beach and manta ray encounters, with organized paid trips and free kayaks/SUPs.

The treehouses are cute though there’s only 6 showers for all dorm beds and treehouse guests. You have to buy a food package but service takes a long time so make sure you’ve got plenty of time to relax and not used to running on schedule. There’s not a great deal to do except visit a cultural village and snorkel/ scuba dive.

All in all we had a great stay, it’s a great resort and a slightly cheaper alternative to the other hotels on the islands around. The pizza and reef are amazing. Still, the resort is quite stretched, especially to go to the toilets from the tree houses is too far and all in all just not as well equipped (e.g. missing aircon) as other resorts. Its probably more suitable for younger travelers who also look for evening programms.

Great stay, the treetop house was super cute and less than 30sec walk to the beach. Make sure you do the Village Walk, 100% worth it!

This is one of the best resorts on the Yasawas for solo travelers; the dorm accommodation is large, clean and allows you to meet new people. There are also lots of activities and the food provided is great.

Overall, it is very good and cost-effective. Although there are 16 rooms, it is very clean and the guests are of high quality. They are all young people from developed countries. The food is average, there are not many choices, and the price is not low. However, the manta that departed in the morning only saw Got one, a little disappointed, after all, it is manta season now

We had a terrific week at Mantaray Island resort. We stayed in a beachfront villa which certainly helped, since they have air conditioning and a great outdoor bathroom with hot water and flush toilet. The food is not 5 star but it’s pretty good. They do have a tendency to overcook the proteins, especially the fish, but there is a good variety of food and I enjoyed every meal. Breakfast is a buffet of pastries, fruit, cereal and toast but you can order off the menu as well and I believe there were 8 options. The portions are large enough for most people, including me. The best part of the resort is the people. They really enjoy what they do and they enjoy working together. They have a rousing game of volleyball together around 6 pm and you can really tell they like playing together. When they interact with you it is apparent that they aren’t just “doing their jobs” they genuinely care about you and your comfort. We found the songs they sang to us on our departure very moving, there were a few tears shed on both sides. And the best part ………. My crab beat Mili’s in the crab race. We will miss them all. Wonderful family holiday for 7 nights! Everyone was fortunate enough to snorkel with the majestic manta rays out in the channel. Lovely big shady deck with beach or pool lookouts for chill time and some games to keep everyone entertained. The divers enjoyed some of the awe-inspiring dive sites out beyond the island including a small wreck dive, rolling hills and walls of plate coral with reef sharks, turtles, and large sea fans. Also an amazing series of swim throughs through a blue cavern system! The staff are super friendly and welcoming! Would recommend to all adventurous spirits as there is something for everyone!

Beautuful small tropical island with clear waters and palm trees waving in the breeze..quite breezy late August. We.stayed 6 nights, and by then found we had done all we could do snorkelling, eating and reading a lot of books. If you.like a good walk of an hour or so this is not the place..but the genuine warmth and personal connection from staff is very special-we felt like family. We did see 1 mantaray but theyre fewer than before now, but the fish!!!fantastic array of colours, coral shapes and delicious warm water. Great place to chill out and unplug devices.
