Noorus Spa Hotel

Horrendous experience. Booked months in advance directly with the hotel for an anniversary trip and when I arrived at the reception they told me my reservation doesn't exist. That their system canceled my booking and that no rooms are available. It was horrible to say the least to hear this after a long trip in the middle of nowhere, with lots of luggages and a small fussy kid that wanted to go to the waterpark. Would not book this hotel ever again. It ruined my trip to Estonia. Ended being sent by hotel reception to a shabby cheep hotel without spa or pool or waterpark or even a working AC and restaurant for lunch.

We had a two nights family spa holiday in Noorus at the beginning of January 2025. Food: I want to start with most terrible service experience in my life. We have booked a table in a restaurant, but they booked it in a pub. It was no problem for us at all where to eat, we were hungry. But it was just a start of our "good" night. After 1 hour the waitress came and notify us that they are very sorry, but there are no food we ordered and we need to order other food. We tried to amend it, but no luck again and again. Then I just asked to tell us what they have got. But what a surprise. About 10-15min after this conversation we have received the originally ordered soups. After that we have been notified that kids food needs to be amended too. But about 10 min later one of the original meal was on the table. 10-15 min later, the second original kids meal has arrived as well. But kids were expecting already the other food. After some time our meal we have amended to has arrived, but two of the meals were as per request but the third one wasn't. We just took it, because we were waiting for it for so long that could not wait for another hour or so for a new meal. The manager promised a good discount. We haven't received it when I asked to pay. I have mentioned about it and unhappy waitress made 10% discount (but if you do calculate it, it was actually 5% only). I have made a complaint about out bad experience during this evening and instead of apologising the waitress was telling me hundred of excuses. I never had that bad service before. I think in this kind of hotel must be a much better service, than we had. As a result, non of our group have a wish to return to this hotel for a stay, just for a spa visit. Do not recommend this place for lunch /dinner. Rooms :rooms were good. But in our room one of the long high window close to ceiling was without curtains and it was bright all night in a room, which was hard for me personally, but it could work in favour for other people. Other than that rooms were warm, good, comfortable. Spa centre: we had an access to both spa and sliders centre. Kids and adults were happy. Everyone could find something good and relaxing /active for themselves. We really enjoyed spending time in both centers. 100% recommend a spa centre.

Really nice SPA and waterpark, lots of activities for children, nice and clean room, but the breakfast was not good at all. We wait our dinner in pub almost an hour, dishes were there okay but nothing special. So when eating somewhere else, then it is okay :)

Our family holiday for 9 nights, consisting of four adults and two kids, was planned two months in advance. I reserved our accommodations through the official Noorus webpage, selecting a SUPERIOR ROOM (30 m²) and a SUITE (48 m²). Let me begin with some constructive criticism that I believe deserves the management team's attention. Unfortunately, the superior room was not suitable for a family of two adults and two teenagers, boy and girl (10 and 12 years old). The only sleeping option for the teenagers was a small sofa bed. While this may work for younger kids aged 3-6, it’s simply impractical for a teenage girl and boy to share one bed. I brought this concern to the reception desk, and while they offered us two separate rooms, they did not have a connecting door. Like many hotels in Estonia, the accommodations were not particularly family-friendly. Although the furniture in the room was clean, some pieces need to be replaced. In room 404, the bathroom door didn’t close properly, and rooms 404, 405, and 515 suffered from inadequate ventilation in the bathrooms, which was also an issue in the communal corridors. The bathroom floors were extremely slippery, and, unfortunately, our 12-year-old daughter fainted and lost consciousness for a few minutes. The Noorus hotel lacks a medical room and first aid staff, which is common in many European hotels, so the reception team had to call an ambulance. Thankfully, the ambulance arrived promptly. Another major concern I raised with the management was the slippery floors in the sauna area and aqua park, which pose significant safety risks. My mother fell and injured both arms, resulting in severe bruising and swelling. The management’s response was, “Unfortunately, it is not possible to keep the floors completely dry in a water environment, especially when the center is full of visitors. We assume that our guests understand that they are in an injury-risk environment and take precautions themselves.” Furthermore, the aqua park staff did not adequately monitor guest behavior, often spending time on their mobile phones. The management assured us that they would conduct additional training and reinforce policies to ensure staff remain attentive and effective. The Noorus Spa Centre is open to the public, attracting groups from nearby hotels for sports sessions, which can create a crowded environment. One aspect that may be noteworthy is the lack of privacy in the shower rooms. Be prepared to see others in the buff (though there are separate areas for men and women). On a positive note, the water in both aqua centers was warm and comfortable, and the dressing rooms were clean. The best time to visit is in the evening when it’s less crowded, and there are plenty of saunas and jacuzzis—a lovely setting to spend time with kids. The waiters in the spa bar are very rude, rolling their eyes, and no one speaks Estonian or doesn't understand the orders. There is no hygiene in the bar and the cocktails were really horrible. Some saunas were closed, which was not mentioned on the website, and most of the saunas were also very cold. There were no promised water bottles in the hotel room, the hairdryer did not work. Children were jumping everywhere they shouldn't and the spa had no staff to keep order. Breakfast was dry and not tasty.

Spa experience was awful, too many kids jumping into the pool all the time. The staff didnt speak estonian, only russian. Spa bar was terrible, dirty and the taste of the drinks was awful. Also breakfast wasn’t really good, the food was cold and tasteless. Also the pool water was quite cold and also saunas temperature was colder than promised.
