Hyatt Place Nashville / Brentwood

This hotel is beyond a shadow of a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I should have known when we arrived and there was no one to help with your bags that it was going to be a bad experience. So, I unloaded my car onto a trolley and helped my 96 year old mother onto the elevator. The room was ok, but had a bathroom so small even a small person could barely get in and close the door without moving to the side to do so. The beds were adequate, though a bit soft. We left for most of the next day and when we returned our beds had not been made. They took used towels and emptied the trash but that was all. When I inquired the next morning at the front desk I was told they only make the beds “every other day”! However, we stayed a total of 4 nights and the beds were never made the entire time! The breakfast was average. And it was the same menu every single day. One morning when we arrived there was almost no food left and no one had bothered to clean up around the area. On top of that, they charge you some fee for who knows what even though my entire booking had been paid in advance. Part of that is supposed to be refunded but “could take 7 to 10 days”. When I went to check out, there was no one at the front desk and we had to wait over 15 minutes for him to return. There was a sign stating he was off performing other duties! Perhaps he was making up our beds?? Then when I told him how disappointed I was he just stared at the computer. Did not say he was sorry or anything. All he said was,” Ok, your checkout is complete.” I know one thing…I have stayed there twice…my first time and my LAST! Worst hotel and still not inexpensive.

Breakfst was excellent. Location was very good. Sink drained very slowly. Bath light took several minutes to reach full brightness

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The rate was very reasonable for this nice hotel.

The hotel was safe and convenient and to Hyatt Place standards in room cleanliness and amenities. The elevator was not working properly and we were on the 6th floor. Other than that, great.

Lovely staff!! Wide breakfast options. And tv NOT on fox was a plus, can’t stand that nonsense. Big rooms but the toilet/shower room needs an upgrade. Very small and shower felt like a power wash. Thermostat on the wall didn’t seem to do anything, the ac was controlled on the machine by the window (which needed cleaning, we told them). We think renovations are underway, the tv was new.
