旅館の入り口から玄関までの外廊下が既に期待感を向上させてくれます。建物は新しくはないですが手入れが行き届き清潔、広々としたつくり。チェックインは１５時、我々が到着したのは１４時過ぎでしたが、お部屋を案内してくれました。当日の予約で、基本的に夕食はつけられないのですが、手配していただき感謝しております。夕食は懐石、様々な種類のお料理、地元産のものも沢山、大満足です。次回は「陽はまた昇る」ワインもいただきたいと思います。談話室にあった本の選択も素晴らしい！ありがとうございました。

外観からは期待できないが、エントランスを跨いだ途端に素晴らしい日本庭園。小さいながら、とても綺麗に整った植物や石。接客がトップホテル同様に素晴らしいです。一階ロビーラウンジでのおもてなし、食後のドリンクサービスとJAZZはこの上なく幸せでした。お食事は誰もわたくし達の好みでした。とりわけ出汁の味付けセンス、器への盛り付け、彩りとお食事内容、日本酒用焼き物のサービス、本当に素晴らしかったです。随所にある花瓶、花のいけ方、飾ってある絵なども素晴らしい。とにかく総合的にセンスが良いお宿でした。お車でないと来れないのも穴場感で私達は好きでした。
