My partner stayed at Irene ll , it is a little gem of a place, close to supermarket, banks and port . very welcoming hosts with reasonable rates, little plates of cakes and pastries as a surprise treats. It is spotless in all areas, house keeping every day was a high standard. Sad to leave, will definitely return

Super friendly modest hotel. Great location 5 minutes from a nice beach and 10 minutes into the centre of Chora which is delightful. Stavros and his team provide morning treats supplied by Stavros` mum. Small but adequate pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

The hotel is a lovely hotel owner Stavros and partner Karine are lovely people. Kauiu welcomed me with juice and made me coffee and fed me with homemade orange cake, she can’t do enough for you. Rooms are lovely, very clean, bed linen and towels changed regularly. There’s a mini kitchen and fridge fine for preparing simple meals. Room had a nice balcony over looking the lovely pool. Hotel is 5 mins walk to busy area and 10 mins to ferry port but it is also in a quieter area, so no noise. There’s also nice restaurants and a supermarket near by. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more. 5 mins walk to the lovely beach.

Whilst I did not stay in this hotel I cannot comment on the hotel or the facilities, what I'm disappointed about is I had booked to stay here for 3 nights and got a call the day before to say it was double booked would I stay in the "sister hotel" for one night at a reduced rate, I agreed. When I arrived to this hotel it was slightly out of town only to be brought further up the hill to an apartment which wasn't part of any hotel or nowhere near and facilities ie bars, restaurants, shops etc and the room was very dated, to top it off the lady next door was shouting a lot unsure if it was mental health issues but I did not feel comfortable staying there as a solo female traveller. I went back to the hotel and explained my situation only to be told it was too late payment had been taken, after a few words I stupidly offered to pay for the night and left as I was visibly upset. In hindsight I should not have paid nor should he of taken the money as it was not what I had originally booked. I ended up staying in a hotel much closer to town..

This place is a must-stay. It’s a budget hotel, but the pool & facilities are sparkling clean, there’s housekeeping every day, and the owner is very charming. The rooms were beautiful with trendy furniture & balconies overlooking the pool. This place is off a quiet side street a 10 minute walk into the main part of the old city and a couple minute walk from a bus stop that can get you to any part of the island. We’ve been traveling for 5 months now & this is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed in all that time.

The hotel is clean, rooms more than decent, decorated nice. Only a minus good be the bathroom as the toilet is very closed to the build in shower...but this is not a big issue...unless you are huge...:). The owner is ok Person as also all the employees... thank you guys for the nice accommodation....be jiorgos
