Ocean View Tourist Guesthouse Negombo - Sri Lanka

Good location. they don't have a spa but when i was booking they showed me they have a spa. The room was very hot because my room was on the 2nd floor, The hotel was also just two floors. Balcony was very nice you can see the sea from balcony.

I can heartily recommend the Ocean View Tourist Guesthouse. The owner Mark Thamel and his staff took excellent care of us; we were a large group with many different needs, and we were supported so kindly throughout. We felt safe, secure, comfortable, and welcomed. The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious!

Avoid! The room has a weird smell (I should have left the airer freshener I bought there) and it's dirty and old and the bed is very uncomfortable. The balcony overlooked the street, the noise on it and in the room at night will mean you can't sleep. All of these points may apply to other rooms too, I asked to change as it was dirty but they said fully booked (it didn't appear to be). Pool area nice that's the only positive Considering the room and the cost and the dirty old room, it was one of the worse places I've ever stayed. Room was nothing like pictures, see below for photos of room, things like rust on the shower head, soap remains in the soap dish, holes in the wall. Terrible.
