❤️The trip to Negombo was very pleasant. Of course, we were also happy because the hotel we stayed in was very considerate. It was already past 1am local time when we arrived at the hotel after handling everything from the airport. The hotel arranged security guards to wait for us. They took the initiative to help us carry our luggage to the room upstairs. During our stay at the hotel, we were always treated with smiles and enthusiasm. The hotel's meals and juices were great. We took a long time on the road to Kandy. We asked the hotel to pack egg sandwiches and fries for us. The scenery of the hotel is beautiful, right by the lagoon. The air and mood are very good when sitting by the lagoon to dine. I hope I will have the opportunity to come here again next time🌞 Goodbye, Negombo~

If you don't like insects, please don't choose this place. There were many large cockroaches in the room. There is no glass in the bathroom window, so bugs can get in. Strangely, there were no mosquitoes. When the hotel staff showed us to our room, there was a large cockroach on the wall. We don't like insects, so we asked them to remove the cockroaches. But he didn't do anything, telling me that if I just leave the cockroaches alone, they'll go somewhere else eventually. We later found several large cockroaches, but we thought it would be the same even if we changed rooms, so we put up with it. Looking back, I should have looked for another hotel and left, but by then it was already past 11pm. The shower only had water and the water pressure was very weak. The window next to the shower had a grid pattern and no glass, so it was completely visible. What was even worse was that a birthday party was being held at the hotel restaurant. A DJ was playing incredibly loud music. The hotel staff said the party would end at 23:30, but it actually didn't end until after midnight. We were lucky to avoid eating at this restaurant as we were finishing our meal on the plane. There was no elevator, and the lights on the stairs and hallway leading up to the room were turned off and pitch black. We went to reception on the first floor with our iPhone lights on to complain about the party noise. The bed linen was damp and the pillows had stains that looked like cockroach droppings. I was so scared that there might be cockroaches that I couldn't turn up the comforter. I booked a room with a bathtub, but there was no bathtub in the room. The bath towels were dirty and tattered. It was truly a nightmare experience. The good thing about it was that we had an air conditioner and there were outlets where we could use foreign electrical appliances. If the room was clean and there weren't a lot of bugs in the room, I think you could open the curtains and enjoy the view.

I stayed here because the reviews were good, but the room was very large and dark. I think it would have been scary to stay alone. It doesn't feel relaxing. It was like the hostel in the movie ``Mistress Raman''. It didn't seem very clean. The food at the hotel was also delicious, but rather expensive. The road outside is dusty and crowded with cars, making it unsuitable for walking. The lake is beautiful just to look at, but it smells fishy. It seems that local people often use it. Music was loud until night.
