This place appears to have been a Brantome “destination “ for many years. It is well run by an efficient team with a nice pool and very good restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and it is centrally located though not by the river, There is safe parking available. A nice place to stop and we’d come again. I didn’t give 5 stars as there is an element of efficiency rather than charm in the ambience but maybe that’s me being picky! The cost overall is very reasonable.

Wonderful hosts. Fabulous food , worth it for dinner alone. Great location within walking distance of everything. Great to have an outdoor pool to cool off in. Private parking and added bonus. Nice touches everywhere, like the rugby themed breakfast area. Will definitely be back. Well done to all the staff.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful area with lots of walking possibilities. Hotelroom was quiet, clean with excellent bed and luxurious facilities. Restaurant using local products, giving us an impression of the "cuisine du Perigord". We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner very much. Personal attention of the whole team. Nice hotel to return.

Stayed here for 2 nights in early July with my husband; Positive aspects: convenient location, easy to find. Good secure parking and very welcoming. We arrived a little early and were able to access our room. Room was small but good value for the price. Close to town and lovely walks from hotel. Less positive: hotel is a little worn, pool is small and feels very exposed, right next to restaurant. Room was very hot and fan gave little relief. No tea, coffee or water in the room. Breakfast offered poor choice, bread, pastries, jam, a yogurt and some fruit. A slightly wider offer of cheese, eggs or cold meats would have been welcome. It’s carbs or carbs! We ate dinner there both nights, food was ok but nothing special. Overall, this is a budget hotel and it’s good value.

Hmmm! don't quite know what to say about this hotel, there was absolutely nothing wrong with any aspect of our stay but it just didn't seem warm and welcoming. The rooms were fine, everything worked as it should, there is a nice pool to relax by if arriving in the afternoon and the breakfast was 'ok' if not great. BUT it just didn't give that welcome that you expect after a long travel day getting there, maybe it was me that day, I don't know. I would stay here again, but might look at an alternative option before committing again. Brantome itself is a lovely place, small but picturesque with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for the overnight traveller.

Lovely place to stay. Room was great, comfortable bed. Only downside was there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Wonderful food on the terrace. Very attentive service. Great stay. We stayed for two nights and the location was excellent. Such a lovely setting with great staff.

We stayed here for one night on our way through France. Very warm welcome, spacious room with comfortable bed, excellent parking arrangements, very good dinner and breakfast with locally-sourced ingredients. We would definitely stay here again.

Une adresse à faire un menu très bon le foie gras est fait maison ainsi que le magret séché j' ai pris la brochette de lotte st jacques et foie gras super bon le tournedos la viande est très tendre le dessert un combo des desserts de la carte super bon. Un restaurant à retenir et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir lors de notre prochain passage. Encore merci pour ce fabuleux moment nous sommes ravis.
