We stayed here for a week hiking various trails around Lake Bohinj and Bled although after one day in Bled in pouring rain was enough. There was more than enough hiking choices around Lake Bohinj and Bistrica. My room was very spacious with a balcony, good bed and en suite. Meals (half board) were included in our hiking package and overall the food was very good and incredibly plentiful. Very big portions. Very nice staff. Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to any and all.

My partner and I visited the hotel for food and drinks on a number of evenings. There was a varied menu including Slovenian dishes, salads and pizzas. Food was lovely and service was always excellent. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Good value, nice area
Good value, very clean, good breakfast, very friendly, very nice surroundings and relatively close to Vogel ski resort, excellent parking. Bed could have been better.

We stayed in this hotel as a result of booking our walking holiday in Slovenia with Headwater. The hotel is very traditional and we had a brilliant stay with all the staff being so helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was a great start to the day and the evening guest three course menu was excellent. There was lots of choice and it very nicely cooked and presented. The hotel is very well located within a pretty village that has everything you need in terms of amenities; the local bakery in the morning and the ice cream counter at the end of an active day were firm favourites. The village also had a very good transport network and is well situated to get to a variety of places very easily. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with lakes, mountains and gorges and we would highly recommend it!

Accomodation in the Bled/Bohinj areas is limited and expensive. However, the Hotel Tripic is a good compromise - a classic and unfancy Slovenian hotel/pension - clean; very well and family run and an ideal place for a base to visit the surrounding area. The staff are excellent, the location is great with free parking and with a direct bus to both Lake Bohinj, Bled and even to Ljubljana. Rooms are are old fashioned and a bit basic and rather overpriced but with only 17 rooms and this location....the included breakfast is better than expected and the onsite restaurant is good and very popular even with locals. So overall the Tripic is recommended.

Very warm and obliging staff. Wonderful location. Hard to think of any negatives. I suppose the rooms were rather expensive but i think that is Slovenia!
