My wife and I recently stayed 3 nights in a junior suite at the Milderer Hof. The rooms were large and well appointed, with a comfortable Austrian king (2 twin beds pushed together). The staff was friendly and generally spoke fluent English. Breakfasts included a huge assortment of food, including omelets, fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts, fresh vegetables, and breads. Dinner varied, sometimes with 4 choices for mains, other evenings a buffet of starters and mains. There was generally a large assortment of fresh salad ingredients, cheeses, bread, and soup. The fare was typical Austrian. Unfortunately it rained for most of our time in the Stubai valley, so we do not have the opportunity to enjoy all of the offerings.

We stayed here for 6 nights, in a suite with lovely views. The staff and service here are excellent. We had half board, but this is really full board plus. The breakfasts are fantastic, in quality and quantity, the "small" lunch is great, with a good selection of salads and bread. The cakes and fruit in the afternoon, are excellent, and you can choose between lots of teas, and coffee. The dinner, was usually 6 courses. Some buffet and some served at your table.There is almost too much food!. Some parts of the hotel, need a bit of a refresh,but I highly recommend this place, as its friendly and excellent value, and in a good location.

Generally excellent hotel - luxury bedrooms are very spacious with good sitting area and balcony. Large outdoor terrace - excellent for sitting with afternoon tea, after dinner coffees, etc. Pool is really attractive and a good size with very good outlook over mountains. Enjoyed the great selection at the breakfast buffet, the afternoon tea, and multi-course evening meals. Two main criticisms: Firstly, we were allocated (no choice) a table (for all breakfasts and evening meals) which was in an interior dining area - so no windows at all, which seemed very unfortunate for a hotel with such great views. And secondly, they had a serious problem with flies when we were there. They were very irritating at the table every day when we were eating, but more importantly, they were all over the food in the buffet area. The serving/cooking staff seemed totally unconcerned about this but we found it very unpleasant selecting food which had flies sitting on it! And one minor criticism: they invariably offered a fish option at dinner, but always with rice. Both of us would often have preferred the fish option if only it had been available with something something other than rice!

A place where you leave your soul. If you want to swim in the world's most beautiful fairy-tale pool, experience a culinary experience in a wonderful interior, meet cordial, wonderful people - you have to come here. Add to this our own production of wine, juices, honey and preserves which can be bought in the shop at the reception of the hotel Milderer Hof is a paradise on earth in alpine scenery.

We stayed here for a very enjoyable week walking and riding the cable cars in the Stubai Valley, the Milderer Hof is excellently located for these activities. The hotel is very much traditional in style and is family run. We were delighted when we checked in to be upgraded to a suite. Our room overlooked the Stubai valley we had a balcony to sit and take in the mountain air. The buffet breakfast offered a choice of almost anything you could ever want. The evening multi course meals were wonderful, once we got our heads around ordering wine by the carafe. In the afternoon it was wonderful to return and enjoy Kaffee und Kuchen.

We loved this hotel for our week long skiing holiday. The room was clean, specious and comfortable with a lovely huge balcony and beautiful view. We went for half board, which included all meals, plus cake at 3 o’clock. Everything we ate at the restaurant was delicious, the rooms and tables were pretty and the restaurant staff were amazing. The hotel staff were also amazing; They couldn’t have been more helpful with all of our requests. The actual hotel is beautiful, with a really nice bar area and pool. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area, it was a really special place to spend the week.

Nice enough hotel although furnishings in our room a bit tired and in need of a revamp. Lovely dining room staff, particularly Serena, who looked after us so well and always cheerful. Spa area with sauna and steam room only suitable for nudists! I wish I'd known that beforehand. Location is quite good and useful bus service to take us to the start of our walks.
