Wonderful boutique small hotel in the middle of gorgeous La Morra. The rooms were tasteful and thoughtfully appointed, with heavenly beds. Ours had a lovely patio, with views of the tile rooftops and the lively wine bar below. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast waitress who wrote my husband a happy birthday message on his morning cappuccino on our last day. Parking was easy and free just a three minute walk from the hotel, and we were able to drop our bags off at reception before parking.

We arrived outside UVE and went into reception where we were told to park about 300 meters away in 24 free parking We unloaded the cases and by time we returned they were in our room Very friendly welcome Lovely hotel in La Morra I am not surprised they are No 1 Restaurant closes at 10 so extremely quiet after that Woke up to a delicious breakfast , everything prepared to order and lots of choice Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night but will certainly recommend to any friends visiting La Morra La Morra is a lovely town with stunning views 1 minute from the hotel of the beautiful valley Loved La Morra !

Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall.
Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard.
Finally, the restaurant was a very unhappy experience. An indifferent reception upon arrival by Ingrid turned cold when we asked if we could sit near the window. The food was unimpressive.
With a penalty assesed of one extra night stay, we were permitted to move to another vineyard based property in Diano D'Alba.

Having traveled to Italy over the passed 15 years I can say this is one if the best hotels I have stayed in. From resorts to small boutique hotels this is the best. Personal service 24 hours a day. Hats off to Gracie and her staff for a most enjoyable time and service.

Uve is something special Extraordinary. This is such place you wish you will find when you go to Italy. Tasteful, modern and genuine. Atmosphere is perfect. We had a wonderful dinner, their truffle pasta was fantastic. On top of that the stuff. Oh, I want to come back here. Love!

Uve was a great place for a dinner with friends. Amazing food and wine, and very affordable. We managed to squeeze in dessert too - all the food well prepared and with an authentic Piemontese flavour! The wine list was extensive and also reasonably priced. A place to look out for when in La Morra!
