This campground is one of those great discoveries that make you wonder how New Plymouth kept it secret for so long. It is literally a stone's throw from the shore&in view of the Port, to the West. Watch a sunset from your cabin or campsite. The facilities are great, but you will need your own cutlery &plates. Remember that dogs are required on a leash at all times &banished to the non-powered campsites with ZERO trees for shade. They are NOT allowed in a cabin.

Older facilites in need of a deep clean. The shower cubicles were pretty awful (see pics) and the kitchen was smelly. When somebody else started a shower after me, mine ran cold. If you don't get a sea view pitch you'll be jammed in behind cabins. Our pitch was far from level. Another guest warned of a recent theft from a campervan. Glad we only stayed one night.

Great welcome at reception with friendly and helpful staff. Lovely coastal site in our campervan - sat outside watching the sun set,and then rise in the moring. Excellent location, close to everything. Has all facilities, dump station and water much appreciated and easy to access. Quiet at night.

Friendly staff on arrival, clean and very tidy amenities, grounds lovely. And what a great view. We loved our wee cabin, it was perfect for what we needed. Pillows bed sheets, blankets and towels, perfect. I would have liked to have more chair and tables out side so you can take in the beautiful sunsets.

Stayed in one of the cabins. Very comfortable and had everything you need. The holiday park is very central to everything. Plenty to do and the view from our cabin was spectacular. Have stayed before and will definitely stay again. Great value for money.

Great central location in New Plymouth next to the coastal walkway and very close to many great day hikes around lakes and Mount Taranaki. The Holiday Park itself has excellent views of the sea and a very nice, large, clean communal kitchen and shower facilities.

Great holiday park for the campervan. Hedges between sites provided privacy. Facilities were good and located close by. Stayed at peak season yet didn't feel crowded. Great views, nice walk down to the Bay and close enough to explore the City.

Great position to walk into New Plymouth and down to harbour area where their is a couple of lovely restaurants. Clean and tidy site. Cabin was ideal. Everything in it that we needed. Plenty of towels. They came everyday to check if we needed anything. The bed was comfy and linen was so soft . Staff were so helpful and friendly Would recommend

A group of six of us rented the three adjoining deluxe cabins for two nights and it was fabulous. A great view from the deck out front and a ten minute walk from the harbour with a couple of great restaurants. You can cook for yourself if you want to as there are some basic facilities there, but we didn't. The cabins were immaculately clean and well laid out and the receptionists were lovely and helpful. There's parking out front so you can head off for your days out without worrying about where to park up when you get back.
