Wulai Spring Spa Hot Springs Resort Reviews

The room was clean and spacious, with a small balcony offering nice views. The public hot spring baths in the basement had everything you could ask for. It's about 1.5 kilometers from Wulai Old Street, the main scenic area, so you can park your car and walk there.

The location is a bit remote; it takes a 20-minute walk to the entrance of the Old Street, so it's more suitable for those with a car. The room is spacious but a bit dated. The exquisite breakfast deserves full marks! The environment is quiet and beautiful.

The hotel boasts a great location, within walking distance to the old town. The rooms are exquisite and elegant, perfect for couples. The indoor hot spring bath is spacious with natural spring water, and the outdoor public hot spring offers a beautiful setting.

I stayed here for one night on December 4th. The room was spacious, and the private bath was large enough for two people, plus there was a separate shower room. The heating worked well, and instead of just bed sheets, there was a proper futon. The fridge was stocked with complimentary water and Pocari Sweat. The public bath was also spacious, featuring a sauna and a jet bath, and there was a water dispenser inside the bathing area. You could step out onto a river-facing terrace from the bath, complete with chairs. It was incredibly relaxing to lie on the terrace after a hot soak. Breakfast was served in a style resembling a Japanese bento box, accompanied by congee, bread, Yakult, and a paper cup of apple juice. I enjoyed it thoroughly on the pleasant river-facing terrace. Although there's no dinner restaurant at the hotel, there are several great restaurants very close by, and I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order! They were delicious. The hotel is a bit away from the old town, but it's quiet, has a nice river view, feels cozy, and the staff were wonderfully laid-back. I had a very relaxing time enjoying the hot springs. The only minor drawback was that the public bath opened at 8 AM and breakfast started at 8:30 AM, which felt a bit late. I wished they opened an hour earlier! Thank you!

Awesome place for calming relaxing weekend, one entrance for the hot springs and spas is included. The room was clean, the hot tub in the room was giant. Close to the river, the soundproofing of the room was good

Excellent value for money! Each room comes with its own hot spring bath, or you can opt for the public hot spring pool, both are incredibly relaxing. Breakfast is a bento-style meal, offering a blend of Chinese and Western options. I highly recommend enjoying it by the river – it's such a relaxing experience!

Very nice hot springs inside hotel and in room . Comfortable bed. Breakfast is not bad . Not easy to locate hotel so better to take taxi to hotel from xindian station or city . The surroundings have 7-11 and local restaurants. But about 20 minutes walk to scenic log train or suspension bridge / old street .

Room: A very satisfying two-night stay. We opted for a Japanese-style room, which was incredibly spacious. Transportation: Accessing Wulai is primarily via a single bus route. From MRT Xindian Station, it takes about half an hour to reach the stop near the hotel, so it's not hard to get to. Food: The hotel provides breakfast, which isn't a buffet but is substantial and filling. Dinner can be a bit more inconvenient. Even walking 20 minutes down to Wulai Old Street, most shops close around 7 or 8 PM. If you plan to travel out for dinner, make sure to check the bus schedule carefully before heading back. Summary: Wulai is inherently a suburban/rural area, so it's definitely not as convenient as staying in the city. However, what you gain in return are spacious surroundings, fresh air, and hot springs. If your schedule allows, I recommend staying for two nights to fully relax and avoid feeling rushed.

Good value for money, convenient parking, and the spring water was quite clean. Everything else was just average.

Great hot springs,kind staff

The location is incredibly convenient. The hot spring water is odorless and tasteless, which was a big hit with the kids. Both the quad and double rooms come with private bathrooms, offering a wonderfully comfortable soaking experience. The quad room also features a very large open space, which the kids absolutely loved for playing. The double room perfectly captures a delightful and authentic Japanese travel vibe. We'll definitely be back for another visit!
