Our stay at Tryp by Wyndham New Taipei Linkou, offers a comfortable stay with nice rooms and decent breakfast, but improvements in staffing, amenities, and luggage storage would make the experience much better. It has potential to be a great hotel if these details are addressed. The hotel itself is nice and provides a comfortable environment for guests.
Unfortunately, there was no designated safe place for luggage, which can be inconvenient for travelers who arrive early or depart late.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a relaxing stay. However, the daily refreshments that were stated were not provided.
The breakfast was good in terms of taste and quality, but the quantity and variety felt limited compared to expectations.
One of the best features is its convenient location near the MRT station. For first-time visitors to New Taipei, this makes getting around the city much easier and stress-free.
We truly appreciated our two-night stay at this hotel. The comfortable room and convenient location made our visit enjoyable.Thank you!
Visited the area for a concert. The hotel sits right outside metro station just across the road (and it's a 15-minute train ride from the airport), they have everything nearby, an outlet, loads of restaurants. Room is clean and tidy, has enough space for two medium sized suitcases, might be slightly tight for larger ones but I'm sure it's manageable. A shame that I don't get to stay longer than a night, will be back if have chance.
My family and i decided to spent a 2nights staycation here. We rented the presidential pool suite room because of the private swimming pool The staff were friendly but lacks a few points on assisting us to our room. Sorroundings are very clean. The room was huge but some of the light controls are not functioning well so we ended sleeping with the light so bright. The AC is great it cools fast, the hot water is 24hrs accesible. Spacious closet with hanger, there is also a small fridge available. We just had a hard time using tge toilet because the door was transparent 😅😅😅. A convenience store across the street and grocery store on the other corner. My nephew and niece enjoys the whole stay here.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cham Cham Taipei. Everything exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well-maintained, making it extremely comfortable for families.
The location is excellent—very convenient with easy access to public transportation, shopping areas, and plenty of food options nearby. It made exploring Taipei effortless, especially with family members.
The room itself was spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Taipei. Would definitely stay here again!
Located near Banqiao with metro, train and bus station about 10 minutes walk away. Easy access to and fro airport and going south to Taichung and Miaoli for our side trips. Mega city, Global Mall near by and 诚品 just 1 street away. Nice swimming pool. Room is clean, spacious and bed is comfortable. Friendly and courteous housekeeping staff. Conceirge lady in attendance was very helpful in helping us locate a shop which we lost touch for quite some time. Also assist in getting careful and friendly driver to bring us to YangMingShan for a half day tour!
Great location, very easy to use MTR to any where you go.Around so many restaurants, massages and night market.Just don’t like breakfast. Not easy for use to find what to eat.A lot of Asian food and very little European. But the rest was very good.Definitely will back to stay again.
On the night of our check-in, around 2 AM, there was a rhythmic noise lasting over an hour that severely disrupted our rest and sleep. I reported the situation to the front desk staff. After they handled it, the issue was resolved in about 10 minutes. However, my family also mentioned that the noise from the heavy traffic at night affected their sleep. We communicated this to the staff and were moved to a different room the next day, but it did impact our plans for the day. I suggest installing enhanced soundproof windows for rooms facing the street.
The front desk staff were friendly and courteous, but the hotel's location was a bit tricky to find. Cleanliness was decent, but the room was simply too small! Due to the rainy weather that day, I ended up staying for two consecutive nights. Despite the small room, the bed was very comfortable – it was a firm mattress, which I prefer. Plus, they offered complimentary sodas!
The room was neat and clean. However, the bed was a bit hard. Breakfast consisted of sandwiches and juice or milk. Many rooms do not have windows, so if you want a room with a window, you need to check in advance. Transportation is convenient as Banqiao Station on the MRT Blue Line is within a 5-minute walk. The counter staff are friendly. However, English communication is difficult. You need to use a translator app.
Although it feels like an older hotel, the rooms are kept very clean.
I don't know if it was because of the room, or if it was like this in the entire hotel. It took a long time for hot water to come to the bathroom, but it was very hot when it came.
Because the room is small and the bed is close to the corridor, the sound insulation is not good. Many movements outside the room can be clearly heard.
