Great stay in the heart of the city! 🏨 I had a very positive experience at Hotel Edison Times Square. The location is unbeatable (5/5), making it the perfect choice for exploring the area. The cleanliness, service, and amenities were all very good (4/5), ensuring a comfortable stay for a solo traveler. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and well-located spot in Times Square!

The location is perfect, steps from Times Square and close to subway station. The hotel keep luggages with very small fee ($1 per piece). Good for first time traveler who want to explore Manhattan.

Overall everything was fine. To be honest I was expecting something a little nicer but I can say that there wasn’t anything specifically that was disappointing. The service was usually friendly though sometimes only perfunctory. The cleanliness of the room was fine. Our biggest complaint was about the AC. It’s extremely loud and blows the air directly at the bed. My girlfriend is a light sleeper so she basically had 5 nights of awful sleep which really negatively impacted our trip. The safe in the room was broken. Other than that it was fine. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Located in Times Square, it's a pleasant walk to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The rooms are a bit small, and breakfast is grab-and-go with three vendor options. I recommend Carve at the intersection of 47th Street and 8th Avenue for more choices. They also offer complimentary red and white wine every Tuesday and Friday from 5-6 PM. The hotel's location is great, near Times Square with multiple subway lines. However, the room assigned by the front desk was in a terrible spot, facing another room's outdoor AC unit. On top of that, the indoor AC unit was very noisy, so much so that I had to turn it off to even attempt to sleep. The hotel's room service was also mediocre; they always forgot something, like disposable cups, or they'd take away the thin blanket provided the day before.

The only upside of this hotel is its proximity to Times Square. The facilities are old, the room is small and rundown, there's no fridge, the AC is extremely noisy, and the soundproofing is terrible.

This is hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was tiny, and the air conditioning was as loud as a tractor. Absolutely terrible experience.

The hotel is quite old, but given its prime location right next to Times Square, you can't really complain too much. However, the large industrial fan from the adjacent building right outside my room was incredibly noisy.

Room was quite small and basic, and walls were thin. Staff was very helpful. There is no on site restaurant except for the steakhouse so it was not an option for my 15 night stay to dine there every night. Great location near to Central station. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Employees were not accommodating especially at the front desk.

Great hotel with great location

The employees here at the Edison are not up to speed with customer service. I get better respect from the public on the street all the way from upper to lower Manhattan than I do from the people here that work at the Edison especially the front desk. They are so to react when you have a problem such as no batteries in the remote to changing the towels since we're staying more than one night. The rooms are a 12x12 room with a coin bed which pretty much is a joke and I will get better service, cleanliness and customer service at probably half the price at a place like the pods here in times square.

Convenient location, just a little noisy

You book with Trip and when you get there, you are charged an extra $35 per day for service. Valet parking is only available until 12am. The included breakfast is a grab and go, if you want to sit down you have to pay extra. The room was tiny, barely enough room to walk around the bed.
